I posted this just so I could talk about the covers

fromis_9 are seriously building their reputation as reliable cover idols, why is each one that they do so good?

Lucy/Elly showing that the group will be ok without their main rapper, I'd heard Lucy rap before on Fantagio's version of Station (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7LcUhIvaSc), but didn't realise that Elly had also trained in rapping! Rina is really coming into her own.

Everglow 100% matched Abracadabra, EU's rap was stellar. If anything Mia was doing a Bit Too Much but that's her brand and I love her for it 90% of the time.

WJSN cover SNSD a lot and I like that, though I thought the choreo for this one was a bit messy, and the Dawon erasure's getting to pantomime levels at this point. Wow @ Dayoung and Soobin's impersonations of Jessica and Taeyeon though.

I wasn't super into Dreamcatcher's but I think part of that is that I just wish people would stop covering Chakra? Cultural insensitivity was literally their brand and there's not a cover been done that I've been happy with. This is definitely one of the better ones, though I don't know how if I'm super on board with how they changed it into Dreamcatcher's style, I think it sounds a bit lazy/unfinished.

I think Nobody's always a bit of a rubbish cover to get, the choreography/staging is quite limiting, but Rocket Punch did a solid job of it I think!

the formation for wjsn's cover is a tad messy but they didn't have a lot of time to adjust with yeonjung and yeoreum's injuries making them have to sit out. the version they did for all rounder idol is a lot more polished.

i absolutely love it when new groups cover old hits (especially now that i'm older and i end up recognizing more and more songs lol)

I might be misremembering but wasn't 2 PM's Hands Up lyrics "get your drinks up" and not "get your dreams up"? Someone in Stray Kids must still be underage, or Mubank is a family show I guess.

Don't really know Ateez (wtf is that name...) but they nailed Shinee's Sherlock. That was really pleasant to ear and watch ♥
Everglow doing the ICONIC Abracadabra was everything :3 It lacked the mesmerizing charisma of BEG but it was truly very fine which says a lot because you don't match BEG just like that tbh.
That change of lyrics in 2pm's song pissed me off so it's a hard pass >>
I hate SuperJunior and it's mrubbish members but omg Sorry Sorry and its choreo still slaps :D The boyz did a great job and I feel less guilty listening to it so hurray
I was actually singing the fanchants during Genie, that's how legendary that song is. The girls did a great job too.

I live for newer groups doing covers of more senior artists. Always my favorite! It's one of the reasons why I became such a big fan of BTOB many years ago because they always do an amazing job on every song that they covered.

AB6IX did a good job with their version of HOPE. I love the old school kpop vibe!
ATEEZ's energy was perfect for Sherlock.
And I appreciate everything about King Donghan. He can just stand up on stage and I'll still cheer for him.
Hwang Bo is somewhere out there smiling after watching Dreamcatcher's stage
EVERGLOW was perfect for the song.
Stray Kid's version of Hands Up looked very poppish. 2PM version of it is hot party song for me.
The Boyz cover was ok. It's a bit sloppy for me (I think I watched PD101's version & Ten's fancam of their cover way too many times its hard to top them)
WJSN did good with the singing! A few more days, they would've perfected the legendary dance.
