Agency: Park Bogum ‘not responsible’ for Song-Song couple divorce

Actor Park Bo-bum 'is not responsible' for Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo's broken marriage, his agency said on Thursday, in a move to quell online rumors his 'inappropriate relationship' with actress Song led to the breakup.

Blossom Entertainment said it would take legal action against rumormongers.

'Rumors are totally groundless,' an official said. 'We won't tolerate those spreading such malicious rumors.'

The official said Park's recent co-starring in TV drama 'Encounter' with Song Hye-kyo and their widely known friendship seem to provide grounds for such rumors to arise.

The official said Park ― a longtime friend of Song Joong-ki ― was also 'shocked' and 'disappointed' by news of the breakup.

Earlier, Song Hye-kyo said 'a difference in personality' was the major cause of the split, while Song Joong-ki said he had sought a divorce settlement to ensure 'peaceful termination of the marriage while avoiding a blame game against each other.'

Both sides did not provide further details.

Even though i don't care for pbg and his super religious cult antics, it sucks that other people have to be dragged into this and have their reputation slandered. So, I heard PBG and SHK affair rumor was created by SJK fans trying to save his image from affair rumors of him with SHK best friend/ stylist going around.

SJK and Kim Ok bin/plus another woman affair rumors is also going around.

Netizens really believe the divorce is because of cheating, because one part sounds pissed and angry.

Can someone confirm one info I read ? I read SJK released his divorce news directly through his lawer, not agency, saying it is weird, people are speculating SJK is at odds with his agency.

I think his company didn´t like how SJK handled it, because PBG did get involved in the mess (ruining a bit his clean image + netizens saying PBG should never accepted doing Boyfriend drama because it was his wife best friend).

SJK lawyer also did not adress PBG rumors, people are saying it is weird how SJK let PBG get involved and said nothing to clear him, letting he get hate when they used to be "best friends".

You sums it nicely, SJK has his own people handle it and not his agency and they never addressed rumours regarding PG even though they were portrait as close acquaintance before and it's not as his team is keeping radio silence after initial announcement, his lawyer keep talking to media about representing only innocent clients and various "close acquaintance" aka PR team keep releasing titbits how awful wife and person SHK is.
