Following their landmark “Love Yourself” tour, BTS triumphantly returns to cinema screens in BRING THE SOUL: THE MOVIE.

Shining brighter than any light on the stage, now the group invite us behind the spotlight.

On the day following the final concert of their Europe tour, on a rooftop in Paris, BTS tells their very own stories from experiencing new cities to performing in front of thousands of ARMY across the globe. A glimpse into BTS’ world away from the stage, featuring intimate group discussions alongside spectacular concert performances from the tour, this is a cinema event not to be missed.

Wasn't Burn the Stage released some months ago?

BigHit is really dedicated to milking BTS for as long as they can, huh? Poor boys, I can't imagine having a camera shoved in my face 24/7, even when I'm emotionally and even physically vulnerable. And there are still people who are 'company stans' and preach that BigHit isn't a capitalist company like all the other "evil kpop companies".

It's actually sad that I have come to believe that BTS will get their much needed break (as in, not being filmed 24/7, having a billion projects, having all this pressure not to screw up, etc) when they enlist. I hope I'm mistaken.

This is 3 overpriced movies in the span of ONE year. Honestly fuck BigHit and their capitalist agenda. The last two releases I spent 500-600 baht for a ticket, which is roughly double the price of regular movie tickets in the city center on a weekend and still more expensive than a 3D movie ticket. And don't get me started on the print quality of the MOTS: Persona album and the quality of the BT21 X Uniqlo t-shirts that just recently launched, just thinking about it is raising my blood pressure.

I'm surprised about the quality being bad - I have a shirt from the Uniqlo Nintendo collection from a couple of years ago and it still looks like it did the day I bought it.

I'm usually meh at this kind of thing and used to think that "if you dont like it dont purchase it" and I STILL DO, but ngl everytime they're releasing something i can't help but slightly mad lol. The unusual music release for a Kpop game, fans at muster who didnt get ticket but still can watch outside & still had to pay, BT21 keeps releasing new merchs, now these movies.... Wow.
Well everything they do has already been done by western celebrities too so I'm supposed to not be shocked, but I'm still shocked anyways.

I dont even know if I'm mad because they're so money-oriented & greedy, or I'm mad because I want everything but I can't afford it 🤔

But if I have to take the positive out of this, is probably i have to be grateful that I still can see them around as much as I want. I can't imagine when they're enlist and not showing up as OT7.

I guess I don’t have as much of a vitriolic reaction as others here. I think fans will eat it up, especially those unable to afford concert tickets. And they have a group discussion which is usually an interesting insight into their thoughts and feelings.

interesting reactions in the comments here lol. i agree it is a lot of content to release in one year but bts are at the top right now, i guess they have to make the best out of it. and idk theyre not forcing ppl to buy anything, i havent bought anything from them this year lol (not even the albums haha fuck student loans) but i went to watch the movies bc its a fun outing. do what you want with your money tbh (and dont use your parents' money ffs)

I'm with the "if you don't want it, don't buy it" crowd because that way I can save money for when they have the decency to tour Latin America, but this fandom is so exhausting ffs. The tours, the Run episodes, aaaaaall the merch, bangtan bombs, the app game, Festa, Muster... I don't even follow half of all this and I'm already tired.

I'm going to see this, I just hope it's not like Burn The Stage which was very bizarre, the only way I can explain it is like the PAPAYAS scene in Coco.

lol don't forget the random vlives too. I agree with it being exhausting. I've been a casual fan before but since going to the Chicago concert, I just fell head first in. But damn, there's so much to be aware of. Just watching the preview for the Lights single and seeing all the comments about the backstory and how that connects to the previous 10 songs/mvs makes me so tired.

And not even regarding content. I'm actually worried for their health. They are overworked. They're traveling all over the globe, they're dancing/moving a lot. they don't rest as much as they should (do they still take energizing pills/whatever they're called?) and it seems they don't take proper care of their vocal cords (eating spicy food even before a performance, the lack of vocal coaches). They're in their 20's and I can't imagine the repercussions their being overworked will have even in the near future.

I get them trying to get the most out of it and striking while the iron is hot with all the merch and such, but not into things like this that are just majorly invasive for the guys. We were already getting so much video content and something like this confirms the idea that they're just never without a camera on them and it's so creepy. I don't know how they can stand it.

I realized that it's been months since I've not it is overwhelming, which is kind of ridiculous but it's how I feel. And now this. I think I'll watch it because it may be interesting, but actually the fact that it's another money grabber is not what irks me the most, it's just that it's something else to add to their pile of content, let them (and the fans) rest or everyone is gonna end up burnt out

I am reading all of the comments and I agree that I think they are going to get burned out, and yes I also believe that the camera is on them 24/7 how else did they get all of that context for the game they just released. But as a BTS fan and someone that did not go to the concerts and can not afford to go, and when they had the Vlive concert I was doing other things that I couldn't watch it, this actually makes me happy that I will be able to see the concert footage. I didn't see Burn the Stage but I did see the other movie and loved every minute of it. So unless something comes up when it comes out I am hoping to go and watch this, it is still way cheaper then the movies, and probably will be cheaper then buying it if they make available to purchase.

the reaction here is interesting. I don't blame bighit for doing this. I mean, when are thye going to get another chance at this? they are currently an abnormaly and in uncharted territory in terms of their international fan base and buying power. as a business, you would defintiely try to get as much out of it as possible. as to how much BTS wants to do this stuff... i dont' know. maybe the money is good enough that they wouldn't mind doing this on the short term. the members, more than anyone, always talk about how this is above what they've dreamt of and seem to know that this is not permanent and want to enjoy it while it lasts. they always talk about how they're excited but scared of where they're heading in terms of their fame and popularity and the pressure this has on them. but at the same time, they're so greatful but they're just enjoying the moment.

and i think bighit is very smart in their release strategies. it's almost like they release stuff so you are always occupied with them and not have time to look at other groups... you can kind of tell by when they release their bangtan bombs. it's generally in a period where there's unlikely to be any new footage or shows they're on.

This is why BTS is my longest stanning group ever. I'm quite a new fan tbh, but it's been almost 2 years I religiously following them since DNA.

But I'm gonna be honest and think solely as a casual fangirl here, that I like to always see them and unfortunately I'm not that concerned with their personal feelings ^^; I'm sorry I know this is cruel, but to me they're just a celebrity and not 'real' in my daily lives. Although it's fun to gossip or talk about their personality ^^ But well, they're still young. I think I remember RM said something like this to himself, "Endure everything. Remember, the adult kim namjoon in his 30s is being created by you right now".... personally I think it's a nice words. So it's not about want or not want for them, they're just building a backup plan I think.

Maybe if I have any concern, I hope the moment they reach a time where they're no longer popular, it won't hit them hard.
