I'm glad I didn't stay up to watch the interview because the fans' behaviour was a m e s s - from shouting all the time (so that the host had to shush them) to pointing at Jin & Namjoon and screaming their names when the members were asked who messes up the most on stage. Sure, they're not good dancers, we all know that, but this was just pure disrespect from fans (BTS fans on my twitter were rightfully pissed off, hah). BTS aren't your friends or pals to be "joking" around like that with them ... Smh. I could go more into detail with my thoughts re: this. Maybe in the comments section.

I haven't watched the iheart interview yet, just seen a clip of the audience being a mess and wow, I'm so upset and angry at them, that was beyond rude. It's especially bad when you see Jimin, Tae and Jungkook all trying to make the audience be quiet too.

smh, the boys might joke about namjin's dancing (and namjin themselves will joke about it too) but it's not our place to joke about it in their faces, and they work so hard. show some respect to the group you're meant to love?

Their performance on the Voice was really good. For once Jimin's voice wasn't completely falling apart on his opening lines. I usually have no problem with his voice but making him the opener for this song, singing these high-ass notes, in that tone, while doing choreography, what a terrible idea.

The iHeartRADIO Live tho, I was lowkey cackling about it this the whole morning. I usually don't trash ARMY because I honestly like the fandom's general positivity, but I honestly rme when things like this happen everyone is reminded that at the end of the day they're a big fandom with a lot of immature fans. Funnier still was seeing fans trying to disown these people from the fandom. Nonono ARMY, this is who you are as well, own it!

(I also hope this gives BTS a wake-up call that gushing about your fandom so much can spoil them rotten, and that it's not a bad thing to be clear about your boundaries.)

Your last sentence, they're in a legit toxic relationship with ARMYs, it's not gonna happen.

Probably the best performance on US tv. The production was the best they’ve received as well. I think the voice being a singing competition had the best sound too. Like the mics were equalized correctly and you could tell when they were singing live. Like there were even some lines I heard that Hoseok & Joon doubled with vocal line on that I had no idea they had been doing this whole time.

Iheart thing ehhh. I’ve heard these live stream radio gigs before & they are rarely good. The best part was Halsey showing up and making Jimin shy by staring at him hard during their dance together.

All I have to add is I saw the Empire State Building while driving home and I got pretty excited.

Also did not know the fandom color was purple.

Not an official color pretty sure the fandom doesn’t have one. I guess it’s just been adopted because of Tae’s I purple you.

oooh, I want to hear more about all the fandom drama, I'll have to go looking. I live for this kind of relatively, harmless drama.

I don't mean that it's okay to make the performers feel badly, of course they deserve respect, but on the scale of fan drama, at least this seems less offensive than it could be. So, popcorn time!

Oof that iHeartRadio interview was a mess. Second-hand embarrassment at its finest and I didn't even watch the whole thing, only that part with "who's the one to make mistakes during dancing", which greatly infuriated me. Who needs antis when part of your own fandom mocks and disrespects you right in front of your face. Undoubtedly, BTS' relationship with their fans is tight, but ffs, this doesn't mean fans have the right to behave like that. BTS aren't your buddies, no matter how much the boys love you. Don't even get me started on the fans' constant screaming. Nice going @ these people, for enforcing the image the media has about ARMYs, that they all are crazy teenagers. Great job embarrassing the rest of the fandom.

I really hope this would be a great time for BTS to say something about respect and boundaries regarding their fandom, but, let's be real, it's never gonna happen, they wouldn't want to anger/disappoint those who pay their bills. And ARMYs have to get rid of the whole "we don't claim them" bit. Accept that part of your fandom is immature/messy, and especially when it's so huge, it's difficult to go unnoticed. Every fandom has its bad apples and ARMYs aren't immune to this. Miss me with the victim card and the holier-than-thou attitude.

Honestly, I've been so done with all the drama (and it's been a lot, holy shit, from the fansites to this interview and more) for some days now and I'm so happy BTS are finally leaving the U.S.

I think it began when a fan posted a list of fansites that broke rules at a concert in the U.S. (aka, they brought cameras with them). Or a from a fan's video complaining about some "bad" fansites. The sure thing is though that, because of some big accounts, it started a witch hunt towards every single fansite, even those who don't bother the other attendees, and equated all fansites to sasaengs.. Some fans even harassed some fansites verbally and even physically, and some cyber-bullied (death threats, etc) others. As a result some fansites went to hiatus, even some who have been with BTS from the beginning.

I also find it funny and hypocritical that some fans went around saying how fansites are bad because they bother the others with their big cameras, while a huge part of the fandom has their phones up in the air during concerts and/or push/elbow others to get as upfront as possible. Or how they act like this while they use fansites' photos as their avatar/header and have liked/retweeted photos/videos. OR, even though they screamed how "evil" fansites are and they endager BTS, I didn't see them complaining about those western fans who took and posted stalker photos of BTS (namely Seokiin, while he was at an amusement park). Some fans even had the nerve to say that BTS hate fansites and don't want them at their concerts.

Once again, this fucking mob mentality is responsible for this bandwagon hate. #ENDViolence, am I right? And I honestly believe a part of those fans are xenophobic as fuck. It wouldn't be the first time western fans tried to dissociate BTS from the kpop culture. These fans seem to lack knowledge of how things work in the fandom world in Korea, that companies and artists encourage fansites because they give them free exposure. BigHit knows about bad fansites and have them blacklisted. If the fans find more then they should report them and leave things at that. Who even gave them the right to handle things themselves. to harass others??? Also, for a fandom who's all "don't generalize us!!!!", they sure love to generalize others.

Good to know I have to stay away from that interview lol

Their performance in The Voice was great, and does anyone know if they got their own mics? I'm not following their US tour closely. Cause I noticed Jin has now a pink mic and Namjoon a blue one that I absolutely love! I think I saw them on the Make it Right TV performance with them too

As soon as I saw the fans with their phones out I knew this was going to be a mess. Fans will do just about anything to get a reaction from them. As I was watching it live I would stop every now and then because I really couldn’t take it. It sucks that Namjoon and Jin got called out like that. I’m glad the other members stepped in right away. Twitter has been a mess this whole week. I can’t believe I read that one fan went into the trash and pulled out some cupcakes the members took a bite out of. Saesangs aren’t just in Korea.

Edit: The Voice performance was amazing, I thinks it’s my fav BWL performance they’ve done here in the US.

The Voice performance looked and sounded great but the real star of the night was Hoseok deciding he wanted to stream on vlive just as the show started all the way until just after they performed. I had the show on mute almost the entire time just to watch him. Ended up having to rewatch the performance on Youtube afterwards.

I enjoyed the voice performance I think it was good. It looks like the stage was more like what they are used to on music shows so maybe it made them feel more comfortable.

You would think after the Ellen performance plp would have learned but hopefully, enough people will shame them and be embarrassed about it to stop it from occurring during the European leg of the tour. The last Norton interview was mess per fan accounts, too.

It's a shame when you have to teach fans that their social media persona should not be their live interview persona but here we are.

I know I've called out Joon and especially Jin (cause he's more often dancing in/near the center) for being off beat but I'd never shout it in their face wtf. That's so rude, what were they thinking. Some people can't tell stan twitter and real life apart.

also they don't even mess up the choreo, cause they have probably memorised the steps the best since they practice them longest. Their problem is more that they are always visibly counting the steps in their heads. And sometimes they're half a beat too fast/slow. Stan twitter has been shoving fancams at me proving that they're amazing dancers, which is sweet, but only shows that they're not. But they work incredibly hard at that and definitely don't deserve to be called out by some fans who mistakenly think they're their friends. It must be difficult as hell doing that kind of choreo when you're not a natural dancer and they do their absolute best for the group. I could neveerrrr.

Dang Namjoon is a saint for trying to catch all the hits and we fans do not deserve him x_x

This interview does demonstrate that it has far less to do with their music and more about their fans in Western media. Shame on those fans for making it about them :(
