Stage K 'Twice' Episode - International Dancers Covering Twice Songs

My youtube recommendations showed me videos of dancers performing Twice songs in front of Twice, and I was like ooooh what's going on? It's a show that is part of JTBC Entertainment, dancers or dance groups from around the world have auditioned to perform in front of their favorite Kpop group, and the ones who make it go through a little competition - whoever wins gets to dance with the kpop stars!

STAGE 1:
"Yes Or Yes" performed by 'Unnie Vibe' from Sweden

Under the cut are the rest of groups featured in the episode, as well as who wins the chance to dance with Twice!



"Knock Knock" performed by Nana from Thailand
(according to the comments, she is an ex Cube trainee and a youtube channel under the name "fromnana" if you liked her and want to see more of her content!)

"What Is Love" performed by a dance group from USA (I didnt find any comments referencing to their group name, if anyone here knows I'll edit it in!)

"Likey" performed by a dance group from China (same with USA group - struggled to find name, if anyone knows it please and thank you!)

Sweden and Thailand proceed to the next round. They both had to perform "TT".

STAGE 2:

In the end, the Winner is Unnie Vibe from Sweden! Here you can see them dance the "Cheer Up" routine with Twice. The first video is seeing who voted for which group, both by the K Leaders and Twice:

It looks like the next group to be featured is Exid!. Here's a preview of their episode for next time. When their performances get uploaded, I'd love to make a post for them! It looks like Super Junior was featured for the previous episode, if a Super Junior fan would like to post it, hey go for it lol

It's a lot of fun to see Twice fans having a dream come true performing in front or with Kpop artists they admire, and watching Twice's reactions is so cute and supportive :) They get really into it. Also for fans of 1st and 2nd gen of KPop, Dara (2NE1), Yubin (Wonder Girls), JoonHyung (g.o.d), and JiWon (SECHSKIES) are 'K Leaders' for the show, so it might be worth checking out to see their reactions/commentary. More content for K Stage can be found on JTBC Entertainment's youtube page, like seeing Twice comfort who didn't make it.

What I learned (or some things I knew and were reinforced):
- omg he’s 21 😨 at least he acknowledged he looks older than his age 😬
- they audition with their group of choice (seventeen) and the show decides who you’ll cover
- he’s a big SNSD fan, I wish stuff like this existed when they were still ot9 :( would’ve made his life lmao
- Nayeon and Jihyo are super friendly
- Tzuyu and Jeongyeon are rather shy (or based what I read in comments, Jeongyeon is social with her peers but isn’t outgoing naturally with people she doesn’t know well. Whereas Dahyun is normally quiet but can easily turn on the charm in front of the camera like for variety shows)
- none of them are fluent in English, which is why I don’t see them making a successful US impact

Also Dara saying “yeah but YG doesn’t always handle their idols that well”. - of course that wouldn’t make it on TV lmaooooo Dara coming in with the truth.
