After making their global comeback on SNL, BTS also made their Korean comeback on Mnet M! Countdown where they performed "Make It Right", "Dionysus" and "Boy With Luv", all songs from their new album Map Of The Soul: Persona.

Jin in those badass songs never fails to crack me up, sorry Jin but that's not your forte.

other funny moments were Taehyung's tumble over the table - me in gym class tbh - and Namjoon's outfit and Jimin's little hip dance. idk I cackled.

Dionysus brought the energy though, and Hoseok is really a great performer.

I liked that they didn't have choreo for Make it Right. Still a very repetitive song but they sounded nice. Could use a little less high pitched singing but I should just give up on that with BTS. but like mid-range >>>

Lmao re: Jin, I totally agree. In one of their earlier releases, maybe No More Dream and Jin is in like a bandanna and cocks his head (apparently trying to look tough) I involuntarily LOL audibly for real. Bless him, there's just nothing hip-hop about him and that's ok.

I feel the same thing with NCT and watching Taeil and Doyoung, two absolute sweet boys (teacher's pets really) be styled in some culturally-appropriating caricature of Black fashion trying to glare in the camera lolllll, like it's such a cute but misguided attempt (leaving aside how problematic it is).

make it right was super cute, i like that they didn't dance through it and jhope sounds great on this track. they should really let taehyung sing in his normal register tho i dont kno why they keep leaning heavily on falsetto.

dionysus lololol ok this grew on me towards the back end of the performance. the boys always bring the energy and i love the set design.

love love LOVE the opening for boy with luv, it was too damn cute! and in general the song is just perfectly upbeat, i cant stop smiling and they all look so happy and relaxed.

jungkook has been creeping up my bias list, he is looking (and sounding) DAMN GOOD this comeback. his presence during boy with luv is just everything rn

BWL is ok I guess, but not the great summer hit they're hoping to get. MIR is so boring omg. Now I really Dionysus as a song, I love the Greek references (so I can forgive them for wearing white instead of black) and I really think it can have a strong appeal to western audiences. However, that choreography isn't helping, considering its rock wannabe vibe. Btw, lol@them owning the dining table after that plagiarism question at the press conference yesterday.

Loved Dionysis choreo, it goes very hard. It'll be the new Fire for me (but not as good), where I would never listen to the song on its own, but it's infectious to watch as a live performance with its energy.

Watching BWL, it's obvious that my bias Park Jimin still hasn't learned to lip sync properly lol. IF you go to the effort to not just play the album cut, but prerecord a "live" sounding vocal, then don't pull the mic away from your face while it continues to play lol.

Make it Right was cute, but V should've been in a headband SMH.

Disappointed they didn't perform the album's best song, HOME tbh.

Dionysus is really elevated by the staging and choreo, as a track I was like "yikes" but seeing it performed takes it to a new level for me.

They did themselves a big disservice not making Home a comeback song, it is the best track on the album. Make It Right is so boring, I feel like they're only trotting it out cause of the Ed Sheeran connection.

I have a lot of feels in Make it Right performance.
First of all, Suga's whole thing is my favorite. His hair, his clothing, overall appearance... he looks really cute and handsome at the same time! Then Jungkook's falsetto.... gosh it's perfect. Indeed main vocalist~
Jimin's voice sounds alright but damn, idk why is he moaning all the time. It kinda ruins it for me.
J-hope's verse is my favorite throughout the whole song, his singing voice is really lovely, I love it.
Jin is also stable. His voice is not my fav but he's way better than Jimin & Taehyung in live lol.
Taehyung.... idk what happened with him tbh. Lately he looks like he almost give up everything. I hope it's just the jetlag & temporary bad mood.

Then Boy With Luv....... I'm not sure whether they're completely lip-syncing, or just background audio overlapped with live voices as usual? Because I see Jimin didn't properly lipsync as if the background audio for his part is loud so he doesnt have to sing live? Not sure about Jin & Taehyung also, but when I heard Jungkook it seems like he sings live (and smooth).
Are they making some audio louder for certain members or what tho?

Dionysus... doesn't really what I've expected. It's still entertaining with the high energy but I dont like the choreo lol. It's not /that/ killer. And the 'drinking wine' movements are too much, it almost bothers me. Anyway for a second I was scared Namjoon would break his legs when he jumped from the table hahaha XD The prop and the choreo kinda risky, I hope no one will get hurt.

Ok listen Make It Right is a good song but Home is superior. I do not like Dionysus as a song at all. It's disjointed and I can't even twerk to it so what's the point? I love a good turn up/let's get drunk song but it's just not my cup of tea. The dance is pretty good. BwL is on my summer playlist soooo I'm officially hooked on it. I wish they work better outfits though.

I mostly enjoyed these stages but I was a little underwhelmed.

Idk, make it right is really pretty but the performance was really just that? pretty? they did sound good tho, I personally don't mind all the falsetto going on there. Hobi killed his part. I'm really glad he gets to sing for once!! His singing voice is so underused!

Dyonisus was... not what I expected lmao. I really liked the second part of the performance and their energy (Jungkook's and Hobi's mostly) was great but the beginning was really just kind of ridiculous. It's like they were parodying themselves. I'm pretty sure it will look better when I see them in concert. Here, the camera work was all over the place and didn't allow to see the choreo in its fullest. And who else is surprised Namjoon didn't break any bone jumping from that table??

BWL, despite the obvious shitty lipsynch, remains a queen and my song crush. it's fun and cute and they really do seem to enjoy themselves while performing.

I sort of hope they'll perform Mikrokosmos and Home at some point on Music Bank/Inki/Music Core but I won't be holding my breathe.

It is such a hype song! Hobi is THE MVP for that song okay, actually all of rap line shine through but Hobi was killing it!

I'm still bopping to Boy With Luv. It's so catchy and fun. Yoongi's rap sounds so much better live and yes to Jungkook's ad libs! Tae is so mesmerizing to watch because he is always grooving along to the music, he's very expressive whilst performing and I adore that. Then again, I am biased lol XD
