Wow this is super short notice, I can't help but be extremely suspicious about these festival type shows by unknown organisers seeing how many got cancelled or scammed people by disappearing and leaving them out of pocket. It looks like a cool line-up so great if it goes without a hitch but everyone considering going: please make sure you buy your ticket in a way that can easily get you a refund if you don't get what has been advertised!

Yeah, there was a similar one back in 2014 that was (incidentally) also to be held in Düsseldorf and one of the parties ran off with people's money and left the other holding the bag. Ticket refunds were given but of course travel/lodging expenses couldn't be refunded so this is probably only an acceptable risk for someone with easy access to the city.

Yeah exactly, that was the one I was thinking of! There was also a festival in Rotterdam (I think?) where everyone did get their ticket refunds when it got cancelled but it's people that come in from other countries that lose out the most. They always have random names like K-pop Super Concert or Korean Hallyu Mega Event or whatever.

It sucks that these things fly under the radar so easily because it's so blatantly illegal to withhold funds when they don't deliver what they promise and sometimes it'll be the exact same people hiding behind a new name or company trying to pull the same stunt a few years later. Thinking of how long it takes to apply for working visa's for all the artists alone makes it super sketchy when events are put up at such short notice. I can already predict that if this goes through soon they'll be putting out calls for "volunteers". The K-pop event scene has always been rife with scammers and I wonder if now that we're getting more concerts it'll be better monitored or if it'll just get even worse.

I hope it all turns out okay and that you have a great time! And yeah if you buy via eventim you should be safe anyway. Just so you know I'm not judging anyone wanting to buy tickets for this, just the seedy promoters and the general state of Korean events that has caused this situation where fans have to do research and constantly feel like they're taking risks just because it has turned into a breeding ground for scammers (and of course the groups who deserve to have properly promoted events that run smoothly).

I'd still be careful. The last one in Düsseldorf had the idols make greeting videos for the event and seemed very legit too.
