(Trying again, let's hope no video will get taken down this time) I love it. Mikrokosmos and Make it right left the biggest impression so far and Dyonisus is gonna go HARD during concerts. After hours of listening to it, I also really enjoy Halsey's contribution to Boy with luv.

That would have been my guess too but I've seen different versions of the line distribution for that song and with all that autotune, it's a little hard to tell them apart tbh.

'Home' is my favorite by far. It's definitely more a fun summer album and I get the comments about it running a bit together but I like the vibe so I'm good with it.

i detest the autotune abuse in this album, it's to the point where i can barely tell their voices apart in some verses, idk who allowed this vocaloid-sounding mess to happen.

overall don't think i'll be replaying this album very much, home is probably the best one out of the bunch.

It's all very fluffy pop fare, which isn't my thing at the moment, but I'm not really the target market either I assume, haha.

Also this version of Boy with Luv with more Halsey is better I think, it seems more balanced with her voice or something...

When I first listened to the album early this morning I didn't like anything off the album, and I was really disappointed.

But I listened to it again over the corse of my bike ride (a great album to listen to while bike riding in the sun shine btw) and I actually really like the whole album. Very poppy, but I love that. I love a good pop album. Although I would kill for an rnb album from them. With Yoongi producing everything, I love his sound.

Make It Right and Home are my faves. Dionysus is weird as fuck but I love it. I really good work out song.

Overall, it’s an okay album. I don’t like it enough to buy it but I might play it on Spotify in the background when I’m doing laundry or cooking. I don’t like the mixing/voice distortions they’re using for this album but I guess that’s here to stay since they’ve been doing that since the LY series.

Persona is the best song on the album and the only one that I feel like actually goes with the concept they’re trying.

Make it Right definitely sounds like a Ed Sheeran song, both lyrics and composition. I don’t mind him in small doses so this is okay.

Jamais Vu reminds me of an early 2000s song, not in a bad way. I like that it’s a subunit song, hope for more subunit songs.

Dionysus is a hot mess. I hate it but I also like it? I think I might like it more if you remove 50% of the singing and rap verses lol which I guess defeats the purpose of the song. At least it’s true to its namesake because Dionysus (the god) is also a hot mess and it’ll probably be fun to perform.

The other songs weren’t memorable.

Since they’re creatures of habit, this is probably the LY:H of this series which means next album will be like LY:T, they’ll probably say all the saccharine lyrics in this album was Fake Love a persona and they will reveal their shadows. Looking forward to the next album.

Dyonisus is this era's IDOL but stronger. It's definitely a concert anthem. It sounds disjointed here but it will slay during concerts. Watch me eat my hat if if ends up falling flat.

mikrokosmos is definitely my fave! but i also really like jamais vu. i'm not really feeling dionysus... i don't like how it's mixed, it sounds like a pre-debut type song to me? lol get back to me in a few weeks tho, i'll probably love it (even if i wish more than anything that the autotune wasn't there)

Well that was incredibly disappointing. I wasn't a fan of Fake Love or Idol but at least there were a few good b-sides on those albums. I've listened to this album twice and I can't recall what any of the songs sound like, even the title track (except for that terrible "boy with luv" part lmao

this is their most boring release to date. altho i thought tear was boring but then loved it, im sure that wont happen for this. this is like a more boring version of her. theres no stellar b-side like dimple, no guilty pleasure like mic drop, but persona is MILES better a song that DNA, it's their first listenable single since spring day. im glad they finally managed to put out a single that doesnt make your ears bleed, maybe korea will actually like this one.

also im laughing at how that mikrokcosmos (w/e tf its called) song has 20+ people listed under the credits and yet... i can't even remember how it goes despite the fact i listened to this album 6 times already....

their fans really need to start having an opinion about their music cause this is just getting so old and repetitive. all i want is something half as good as wings but we are clearly never getting that again. im tired

don't @me but... boy w luv is my fav off this album. persona is the most realized song but rap-only tracks are not rly what i go for. still, i appreciate its existence and the album would've felt shallow and empty without it

i feel like there's smth in the rest of the b-sides that makes them fall short. i love the post-chorus in mikrokosmos but the rest of the song is just kinda... there. home could've been a hit, i like the verses and the rnb vibe but the chorus with the "mi casa" makes it a bit too cheesy for me. it's a shame the autotune is so heavy in dionysus bc i would've loved it otherwise. on that note, i agree with what others have said abt the vocal processing and autotune dampening the overall enjoyment of the album and making the vocal line blend together. the songs being in a high register and making them all sing in that strained falsetto also contributes to their voices sounding the same

- Persona is good (classic BTS)
- Boy With Luv is a classic kpop song, it'll d great without being memorable (what's her face is unecessary)
- Mikrokosmos is a no for me, it's too slow to begin and when it does it goes nowhere
- Make It Right is a nice filler
- Home is nice and laid back, very late summer type of song
- Jamais Vu is another filler
- Dyonisus is another no, it's just noise (very kpopish though)

It's a decent album but in a basic way, as in it's what I'd exoect from all and any k-pop boygroup, there's nothing distinctive about it but it's still nice
