Besides receiving the "Top Social Artist" nomination for the third time in a row, BTS have also received a "Top Duo/Group" nomination for the first time ever.

Congratulations to all the nominees (even though I’m iffy about awards regarding social media). But oh God, this is going to be really messy. I completely understand ARMYs' disdain towards the fans of EXO and GOT7 who mocked BTS' BBMAs nomination back in 2017, but good lord, it’s a complete another thing to be so vengeful and hateful. There’s already a bloodbath on twitter. Fans are literally spouting vitriol towards each other.

On a much happier and lighter note, for the Top Duo/Group award. Finally, BTS got a nomination for their music! However, I'm 100% rooting for P!atD (I have loved them since 2006, and Brendon, that absolute sweetheart, owns a place in my heart). Their newest album is gold. Honestly, I always have trust in Brendon to deliver great music and so far he hasn’t disappointed me.

yeah armies seem really bitter and aggressive on twitter tbh. why not just be happy that your group is more successful than others and celebrate all the good things about bts to promote them in a positive way like posting performances, interviews, etc. instead of trying to prove how all kpop is trash except for bts or force girl group stans to listen to bts even though some people want to stay clear of boygroups, etc.?
