During this weekend's national toyfair it was revealed that the members of BTS were announced as Funkos and will be available individually or in a 7 pack exclusive to Barnes & Noble.

I think black hair is Jin and centre part blond is RM but that's as far as I got. It makes sense that they wanted colourful outfits and hair so each one looks different but I really wish they didn't go with their DNA styling, it's such a tacky overload that none of the members retained a "look" from it.

People are going to buy either their fav or the whole set anyway so like...give us those little INU sailor suits or something!

I never liked Funko Pops, because I'm more of a fan of figures which resemble more in the face those who portray, but I'm kinda tempted to get the Jungkook one (he's the cherry haired one, right? I can also tell Taehyung because of the hair too lol. Have zero clue for the others, without looking at the photoshoot with the specific outfits)..

The only Funko pop I have is my Sailor Moon one and I love it. But...I wish they chose different outfits for this set because this is not excite me in any way lol. I mean I’m happy that they’re becoming Funko pops but Fake Love has cooler outfits. Taehyung’s body harness stays being slept on I guess.

Does anyone know if viewership increased during bts’ speech at the grammys? I read somewhere that bts didnt affect the bbmas or amas viewership but their circulation on social media is really good

That makes sense since theyre not ariana or drake levels of famous. Fans like to claim they keep getting invited for the ratings though. I guess it might be a combination of internet traffic plus acknowledging their success on the billboard chart

Yeah when fans say that I’m like ... ok maybe. But I feel like this would make more sense as an outcome. While they have a lot of fans I don’t think it will change the figures significantly if there’s a lot of general public watching too. I do think the internet traffic helps as you said and also them being a successful foreign group when the PC sentiments are on the rise helps as well. (Which being a minority myself, I’m not complaining about)
