i kinda dont get fans celebrating and calling "omg yes my gay king/queen" when idols are there just doing the minimum possible to not sound homophobic or rude to gay community 🤷 that's not called support, its just basic manners lmao

i would prefer to keep having around someone who's brave enough to openly support lgbt rights in a country like korea instead of giving credits & celebrate idols that never bother in addressing those topics openly

this happens often in the west and celebs even perform at gay clubs but its a big deal that she goes there out in the open even though she's a k-pop idol. i can't remember any other idol openly going to a gay club except maybe jokwon but that was in thailand.
