i believe there have been changes to enlistment rules so they actually have no choice but to enlist this year! (i think)

Yep! The 2018 change requires all able men to begin their service at no later than int’l age 28, and Minho and Key are ‘91 liners.

yep. taemin doesn't have to go until 2021 and there's no sign (yet) that he intends to go earlier so he'll probably hold the fort and then go after minkey are back.

I thought they'd have at least another year or so after Onew. But it seems quite a few 91ers are also going, looks like enlistment regulations are stricter these days.

Oh well, it’s probably for the best. At least they’ll get back together (and hopefully form a subunit).

I wonder what happens to Amazing Saturday — it’s gonna be a great loss because Key is their ace. 😅 I hope that when he gets back they could still reserve a slot for him.

Would’ve been nice if Taemin were to go with them as well but his Japanese promos must be too lucrative to let go of.

there were some rumors about this floating around the last few weeks so i'm not surprised. (flat out someone said that they saw kibum registering for the military band last week on twitter.) minho and kibum's solo activities were kind of an indicator too - though i have a gut feeling minho might try to fit in a drama or something before he goes. there'd still be a tiny bit of time, unless he wants to relax which would be totally understandable.

taemin still has over two years and his solo career is at it's peak, especially in japan, so he's def not going anytime soon.
