This video was take in the economy class on a flight from Japan to Korea and shows sasaengs rushing to the exit as soon as the plane landed, presumably to be the first in line right after BTS, who were flying first class.

I hate taking the plane omg. This is crazy for me XD. Airports are cool and such but flights are a nightmare in my book. I don't do them unless I absolutely have to.
That being randomly said, I feel like I was naive about the extent of what sasaeng fans could do. If you have that kind of time and money to spare, give it to me instead :D
Whelp tho, some people truly have fanaticsm and obsession in their dna/stars.

listen i've been on enough planes to know that that shit ain't normal. people wanna get off the plane quickly but the NEVER move that fast.

kids, my paypal is open to donations if you've got the money to be following your idols everywhere

I heard about sasaengs being on that plane but omg how many of them were there??

Jungkook and Jimin were also filmed and photographed while they went out later that day and it's also been reported as being the work of sasaengs. that's not cool kids.

There’s unspoken rules and etiquette for getting off a plane because everyone wants out after being stuck in a confined space. Rushing it definitely shows they’re not normal passengers. Expose them.

Aren't these fansites? Not saying they aren't sasaengs but it pretty much happens the way I imagined it to, since the moment they step out of the plane the fansites already are there in position to take their pictures

Fansites are just sasaengs with cameras. Bighit has already spoken against deliberately booking the same flights as BTS but they still do it.

some of them probably are. not all fansites are sasaengs and not all sasaengs are fansites, but they still encourage toxic fan culture anyway.

in kpop fandom culture the line between a fansite headmaster & stalker is so thin and blurry ... many sasaengs say they work for fansites🤷🤷
of course fansites wont admit they have sasaengs on their favor but as soon as they need very "exclusive information" (the kind of private information you only can get if you stalk & follow idols) fansites seem like suddenly they forgot their hate for sasaengs

there should be stronger laws against stalking in sk. these women should have restraining orders put on them because not only they're dangerous to bts, but also the ppl around them.

like... this is the better side of it, but imagine having to check every hotel rooms for hidden camera, or even your own apartment. as someone with anxiety, i can't fathom how these guys stand it mentally.

We've had so many posts about sasaengs this month it really shows how there are no regulations against stalking idols. Honestly, idol companies need to start targeting companies as well as people for leaking information or at least publicizing it more often. This kind of harrasment is horrible to a person's mental health and then fans wonder why some idols are reluctant to interact when they meet you on the street.

they're even using similar outfits lol
its like a dumb agreement to make their stalking behaviour look even more obvious and creepy 🤦

i wish this was illegal but of course idol culture prefer to encourge sasaeng to keep following idols

wow I made this forever ago, never thought I'd have the context to use it again...

seriously so many hoodies rushing towards an exit is some horror level shit. An Asian director should make a horror film around this subject. Kind of like Babadook but instead of the scary thing being a manifestation of the trauma from an abortion it will be sasaeng.

this is so wild and unnerving. i can't imagine what idols must feel.. the idea of having people stalk and harass me like this is horrifying. i wish more than anything that this culture would die or something would finally be done about it

I've seen this when I've taken a flight with Got7. Although in that case, I think it's more fansites rushing off the plane than sasaeng. They ram into people and jam into the aisles. I don't know how they do it really, but they're pros.

I just think its funny that companies want to protect their idols only after theyve spent years giving away their filming/travel schedules and selling their personal info like yall created sasaengs!

Also fansites =/= sasaengs

It's disgusting really, they never want to protect their idols, only their ability to generate income, and they're always so keen to hype up this kind of attention when groups are just starting out because irrational obsession is where their bread and butter lies.

It's so bad that they also build a system where they rely on stalker fans and the like to bury any scandals or secret info which at the same time turns them into time bombs that can do anything they want to the idols they're following around because they could choose to ruin their careers or even lives at any given time by spilling all the insider info they got from being legal stalkers for years if any of them do something to insult or upset them.

wow that's crazy!! i didn't expect to see majority of the flight stand up like that. that's some scary shit, i'd be terrified if i were an idol.

This is horrifying. Really goes to show that sasaeng culture has not changed at all. Companies still benefit immensely off of these people and forming this feeling of ownership towards idols so I'm not surprised at all. Until companies stop marketing idols as objects to be owned and shaped by their fanbase, this behaviour will continue.

This is so horrifying, I would be so freaked out to leave the plane if it was me.

no wonder Jin looked so mad when he exited the plane. He looked so pissed in all the photos released.

BTS should honestly permanently travel on private jets like TWICE did once and avoid these creeps once and for all

Also what do stalkers even get out of this?? do they know how cray they look to outsiders? it's honestly kind of sad, specially once they grow up and remember that *this* is what they spent their free time on.

How do they even have the money to do this, seriously.

This is been a problem for decades! Companies need to start laying down the law on these people.
