I don't know if it was announced there'd be a Japanese mv for Airplane pt2, since I don't follow the updates for their schedule, so this was a pleasant surprise.
It's a simple mv, the camera work isn't the best at some parts and some jump cuts(?) are kinda inconsistent (maybe they were supposed to be like that, but eh), but I love the song and Jungkook is fine af (not surprising), so.

The colour wash was really nice. Strange for it to come out now when it looks like such a summer MV.
The setting was lovely and after the visual messiness of Idol it’s a great palate cleanser.
The rain scenes were the best. Simple, effective and direct.

It’s funny because Jungkook tend to look more mature in music videos, whilst in real life he looks much more younger.
I have a friend who went to the concert in Hamilton, and she remarked how JK looked like he’s 17 irl, really young, and Jimin looks like a baby (she literally said that, she was surprised)
In particularly they all looked young but JK and Jimin stood out the most that way

It's a nice MV, Hobi dancing on the bar is definitely one of the highlights! The rain part seems a bit forced, but the combo boys plus rain is one of my weakest spots so no complaints here

I think it's because it's set in an empty, brightly muted bar that obviously hasn't opened. If there was a bartender and some casual evening drinkers and BTS just happened to swagger in, I could settle into the video more lol. Instead, my mind is juxtaposing the sets and emotions of Fake Love (and a bit of Idol) with Airplane Pt 2 and it doesn't work. They really needed to have done more to differentiate the set for this video + make it more playfully cocky + use smoother transitions/editing.
