On October 29, the organizers of the 2018 MGA announced that BTS and Charlie Puth would be performing together at the upcoming awards show. A representative stated, “The group BTS and the American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth are preparing to stage a collaboration performance at the 2018 MGA.”

BTS and Charlie Puth’s special performance will take place on November 6 at the 2018 MGA, which will be held at the Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon.

I think he had a private facebook page and made multiple posts supporting Trump leading up to the election. People didn't like they he was supporting him in general, but also because it seemed like he was trying to hide it as to not get backlash.

Plus, the army thinks he's really shameless about trying to use Jungkook's interest in him for his own gain. I'm not really on twitter, but apparently Charlie has multiple posts about BTS and would post stuff like his new music with tweets that say stuff like "jungkook, look." He also mentioned in an interview that BTS's views and social media interaction is really crazy and said something like "Shawn (Mendes) and I talked about it like, 'wow. People really go crazy for BTS. What do we have to do to get our views and retweets up like that?'"

Lol seriously, it reminds me of art school kids who go to thrift stores to buy up like...90s Fila tees and fleece jackets for 3 bucks and then sell them on the Depop for 10 times the price to ignorant wannabe style icons. Someone scraping the bargain bin for their Western hookups and succeeding into making them think they're getting a good deal. Collabs are tricky. You've got to predict who and what are going to be hot when you plan to release them. BH needs to better anticipate who's/what's going to blow up in 6-18 months vs targeting people based on networking possibilities or musical preferences.
