there are lots of theories: that it's full of original compositions and not samples, that it's not hip-hop/rap based, that its approach is more a friend sharing personal faves with other friends than an artist dropping a release for fans. no-one knows for sure.

When Joon said he wanted to release his second mixtape this year I really thought it would be impossible with their schedule... now I'm??? you know I totally believe when Yoongi call them workaholics now, or they just really truly enjoy their job.

i'm most curious about that track with the Mot guy, he's Joon's "wokest" friend so i wonder what the song is about. but I'm excited for the whole thing because joon writes the lyrics I enjoy the most (serendipity, singularity, 4 o'clock, etc - have some of my favorite lyrics ever). Though I know Joon has been enjoying a more mellow rapping style as of late, I still hope he goes hard on some tracks.

I was surprised at first because where did he find the time to record this? But then I realized that most of BTS bring recording equipment on the road, and Suga and him mentioned that they write over 100 songs a year. Considering their songs have to go through an approval process with Big Hit, a lot of them probably don't make the cut, so it's likely that he has a lot of unreleased songs on the backburner.

I'm excited for this! Especially the collaborations with Honne and Nell. Fingers crossed that Supreme Boi won't be a producer on this mixtape, seeing that he wasn't involved in RM's first mixtape.

I'm so excited for this omfg I loved his first mixtape and he's always been my favourite lyricist in the group. I'm hyped for the HONNE-produced track, I always love HONNE's productions.

I'm pretty sure the boys--or at least Namjoon--met up with a few producers and musicians when they had the free time while touring. Like as much as their schedule's packed, I can see Namjoon taking the effort and time to contact and meet up with a number of producers local to the area. Highkey I think he's already been talking to HONNE and then made plans to meet up when BTS was in London. Namjoon has always been the one going out of his way to talk to them idk. I mean him knowing English def helps but he's always been super open about collabs with other producers? idk I can't explain it properly lmao but hopefully y'all got it.
