There are some fans commenting that they're confused that the video doesn't have more views or that youtube is stuck/etc, and I want to scream at them that there are some clever fans that don't blindly follow everything BTS do and don't want to support a shitty person like Nicki, so there are less people watching/streaming the video.
Still not into the song and I don't think I'll ever be. I just hope their next releases will be much better, but since their fans will swallow and praise everything BTS release regardless of the quality, well, I'm not that hopeful.
Errrr they should be happy it's not doing better because if a shitty half arsed remake video which is really just a copy of the original with a tiny bit extra that no one asked for added in was racking up record breaking views it would be clear cut proof to the world that is already sceptical of their stats that their numbers are created by nothing but obsessive streaming marathons from a core group of their cultlike fans. What they've achieved is already enough and the implication that something isn't as good if it doesn't break their previous records is ridiculous, this stupid obsession with stats has no ending and it's doing serious damage to the quality of their output.
The hangul lyrics were a nice touch. I hate how they basically repeated the same section THRICE but I can understand the reasoning. Smh at ppl hating on the Idol Challenge. Boy is happy to rep up his dancing feet and encourage fandom participation, and you call it cringy? Queen Arya Maisie Williams clearly did not agree. She blew it up the clouds so you better watch your pretty heads in the night.

I've felt similarly while reading negative opinions about my favorite band. If it helps, I noticed on bangtan subreddit that users give a lot of positive feedback.
Coming in late to my own post, to say this is exactly what I thought it would be. Although, I thought Nicki would have it together enough to actually lip sync most of her own verse.
And just to copy + paste myself from elsewhere on the internet: I don’t like how her lyrics are written in Hangul but it’s phonetic and not actually translated. Like we have audio of her rapping with footage of Jungkook dancing with “워드 투 존 메이어” spelled out behind him 😂What is happening?
While I don't like Nicki for how messy her personal life is and stuff she stands for, I can understand people not wanting to watch it or be part of this.
As for the IDOL challenge, a fan created it and it gained traction on ARMY Twitter which Hobi noticed it and did a cover and so did some of the members, eventually BH contacted the people who've been putting up covers to get their consent to add it to the MV.
While I understand people can have conflicting opinions about BTS, the amount of salt in this post - Omona sure loves to pick and show who they dislike these days.
