BigHit Entertainment Responds To Further Death Threats Against BTS’s Jimin

BigHit Entertainment has responded to concerns about more death threats made against BTS member Jimin.

Recently, an Instagram user made posts including a photo of a gun and the statement that they plan to shoot Jimin at BTS’s concert in Los Angeles on September 5. The concert is part of the group’s “Love Yourself” world tour.

When asked about the threats by Newsen on July 12, BigHit Entertainment stated that the agency is aware of them.

“Regardless of the authenticity of the threats, we plan to do our utmost and take all necessary measures in responding to actions that may threaten the safety of the members,” the agency stated. “In the past as well, we made thorough preparations, and the matter was resolved without any actual incident. We plan to prepare while keeping a close eye on the situation.”

This is the third time that death threats have been made against Jimin, following similar threats made ahead of their concert in Anaheim in April 2017 and their Fort Worth concert in May 2018.

BTS’s “Love Yourself” world tour will begin on August 25 and 26 with opening shows in Seoul, followed by stops in the United States, Canada, and Europe, with more dates to be announced.

big hit should react harshly and find whoever is making these threats instead of just promising to tighten the security.
only then these people would stop. jimin doesn't deserve to deal with this 3 times..his family must be worried.

They really need to find the person who is doing it. If it happened on twitter its not hard to track who it is. With all the gun violence that is happening in the US right now it's not something to take lightly. Even as a joke this person is sick in the head...their needs to be some kind of punishment.

i will never understand why these trolls keep on making such threats (not just to jimin, but to everyone else as well) especially since the world today is extremely dangerous and scary.

i really wish bighit would track whoever these people are and take necessary actions toward this crime and not just say that they will tighten their security. these sick people deserve to be locked up in a jail cell.

At this point I’m so tired of all these death threats. After what apink went through, I don’t think we’ll ever get proper arrests. I wish I can protect Jimin in any way, but I can’t, so I hope to dear god BigHit can take of him. I don’t want any homicide cases to pop in Kpop. No idols deserve this.
