INFINITE’s Sunggyu Makes Surprise Military Enlistment Announcement During Concert

INFINITE’s Sunggyu will begin his mandatory military service this month.

During the last day of his solo concert “Shine” on May 7, the singer revealed that he would be enlisting sometime next week. A source from his agency, Woollim Entertainment, confirmed to OSEN, “Sunggyu recently received his draft notice and is planning to begin his service as an active duty soldier on May 14.”

It has not been confirmed whether Sunggyu will undertake any further promotional activities in the week leading up to his enlistment. His first solo concert ran from May 5 to 7 at Kyunghee University’s Grand Peace Palace.
