I really wanted to enjoy this mixtape, I looked forward to it for years like everyone else, and there are many good songs, but I can't support something with Supreme Boi on it.

I can't support BigHit letting him namedrop Rockbottom crew on this mixtape like Iron ain't over there being a convicted attempted rapist and girlfriend beater.

I don't understand why they let that happen and I don't understand why the boys like Supreme Boi so much when he's out here writing songs about rape for a goddamn (sorry, ~attempted~) sexual assaulter...

I haven't seen anyone online talking about this and ngl it has been very hard for me lol not to be ~dramatique~. It has made me very depressed. I have PTSD, I was in a sexually abusive relationship and to see BH and Hobi so freely associating with this crowd while fronting an ~anti-violence campaign~ has made me really sick. God, I was so happy and excited when I started listening and now... I'm very depressed.

Anyway, please don't yell @ me about this, it's a very intimate topic for me and I don't want to deal with that. I'm not trying to start shit or fighting or diss anyone. I just wanted to see some discourse on BH's continued shameless association with Rockbottom crew through all these horrible crimes lol. They deserve to be called out for this, it's so insulting to victims.

All they had to do was say "YO cut the Rockbottom line, this dude literally JUST got arrested for trying to kill his girlfriend, don't drag the boys into that." but they didn't, because they don't care and it kinda seems like fans don't either.

Hixtape has bops, it is absolutely true, Hobi did well. But I can't support anything else with Supreme Boi's name on it anymore. It's too much. He's out here kicking back on Instagram with a man who assaulted his girlfriend and held her at knife point, put her in the hospital. He's out here writing ~rape kink~ songs with that same man. I can't do it. I just can't.

that line bothered me a lot, i have no illusions that bts will stop working with supreme boi anytime soon bc let's be real he's been involved in so many of their key tracks, but at least i could justify ignoring him or assuming he wasn't out right supporting iron's actions when he wasn't out there namedropping rockbottom in his features (i don't keep up with his social media or anything). i mentioned this whole thing somewhere else and the only response i got was who cares sooo yeah ppl don't wanna talk about it

But it is really contradicting that they would hangout with supremeboi while promoting anti violence. It's sad, but I find in some areas with bts I don't fully trust their sincerity. i hate supreme boi so i wasn't happy to see him on hixtape, and even less so after listening to the track bc for me it screamed 'SUPREME fuckBOI' all over it and it's actually the only track i dislike, hoseok mentioned in his vlive that supreme boi had 'directed' the track and to me it sounds more like hoseok is featuring on a sb's track than the other way around, i mean look at the credits listing:

anyway i hate supreme boi but like what can i do (it's just frustrating to think about), like back when i found about what a mess he was, i thought that bh would be working with him on the down low but instead they're showing him off lmaooo, like what was the point of him performing with rapline during their last wings tour concert?

i watched good insight with bang sihyuk recently and he said that they were trying to make songs with messages who wouldn't harm society (or something, sorry my english is bad) and i'm like 'but you're still working with sb who has participated on the lyrics writing and producing of multiple extremely misogynist songs???' while he was on the credits for songs like 21st century girls and not today when these songs are meant to be 'empowering' (don't quote me on that)
and it's not like most armys like him enough to pay attention to shit he does. there's nothing that can be done as long as sb doesn't mess up in bts' presence tbh, so i'm just waiting on it lol.

You've said all there is to say about this and it just does not stop being upsetting. At this point...if they're already THAT shameless what's stopping them from keeping Iron from writing one of their tracks in the future? Where is the limit? Thinking about it it almost seems like a non-issue in comparison when people were being silenced about not wanting them to pal around with the Chainsmokers a while back.

I know there are a lot of petty arguments about what BTS can and can not be criticized for but seriously this is something they HAVE to be called out on. It's simply inexcusable. If it wouldn't cost so much to get in someone should take printouts of Iron's victim's statement to their fansigns and make every single member take a long hard look at it while they're cashing in on being "socially conscious".

idk anything about supreme boi except for the times he's mentioned on omona because fandom doesn't talk about him..or care about him, whether to praise his work or bring up his association with iron. he's not really acknowledged (and i follow a lot of big/famous army accounts on twt)

and tbh i'm sure he'll continue to work with bh/bts unless the kfandom voiced complaints about him...

I honestly didn’t mean to depress anyone so I’m sorry if I did that lol. :( The mixtape does have some good songs and I too wanted to be able to enjoy them. Like I said, I just wanted people to discuss this because I think it’s extremely important and is getting buried / silenced every time that it’s brought up.

No one made a listening post so I'm gonna leave my thoughts on the mixtape here. I'm super pleased with the mixtape and the MVs, I actually love the MVs. For someone who did not have such a big passion for music before becoming an idol to come up with this, I think it's amazing. Bass Line and Blue Side should have been longer ugh! I can't wait to hear such chill vibes from a BTS song. It can be a B-side too, I don't care.

The only complaint I have is that it's too short. I'm greedy and I want more Hobi what can I say.

Also, can we discuss how good he's looking in the MVs?? Like wow I'm so attacked.

yeah i was disappointed there wasn't a listening post! i almost made one but bts post on here have been so dead lately i was scared it would flop lmao. i'm also hoping for chill songs from bts too! since everything on ly:her was pretty upbeat, i wonder how the next album will turn out (they even refused to attend iheart awards for the sake of their album!!)

Ok I wanted to say how much I really enjoyed the mixtape and how I really enjoyed the esthetics of this MV. It’s all esthetics let me bath in them.

I haven’t posted here in awhile because almost every BTS post inevitably turns OT. Sometimes one of the first comments say how nobody is allowed to criticize BTS but as far as I can tell criticism is what always ends up happening in any BTS post of substance. And I’m not taking about their music. I expect to see a variety of opinions and not all of them positive. WhAt I don’t expect to see are the constant ot derailments of threads examples member personalities, how problematic they are, how their company and employees are terrible which are all valid opinions but they are OT. I thought this was the norm but I look in other threads and this doesn’t happen with other group posts. So I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ This is just how it is I guess. And if anyone comments about how OT it is we are told we are not allowing discussion and suppressing other opinions.

Nice video aside from the frantic spinning early into it! I have to go back and listen to the song a bit more to fully give it its due thanks to this MV. I further like that he wants to publicize who he is beyond his immense dancing talent (idols are people that as multifaceted as you, etc. - y'all know the drill).

I normally never comment on any Omona posts (personal choice to read and gradually form my opinion; plus, I read most of these posts too late to be relevant), but I appreciated this post!

The discussions felt relevant to me (hope the OP felt that way as well) and helpful in keeping me aware of the reality behind the facade. I wish that I didn't need that reminder every now and again; but, since I don't accept willful ignorance in others or myself in my day-to-day, then I really shouldn't in the areas of my life that bring joy. So, thank you to the members here who took the time to post their feelings and opinions on the MV, the mixtape, and BTS in general!
