Happy Friday everyone! Every week I go through the past charts for this day and post the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, let’s see who was in the top spots for the 3rd week of February, 2012. Like most songs of 2012, I don’t remember much lol.


#3 T-ara “Lovey Dovey”
I only remember the chorus. Like, I know that this song did well and was popular, but I remember nothing of this era at all. Not the MV (which I already posted before), the live performances, or the choreography.

#2 Se7en “When I Can’t Sing”
This was the first time ever YG collaborated with JYP for a song. It sounds very JYP, doesn’t it? I know that I’ve heard this song before, but I have never seen the video for it. GD makes a quick cameo.

#1 FT Island “Severely”
I thought I didn’t know this song, but it got to the chorus and now I know I’ve heard it before. This is a good MV! Kind of predictable, but still a well done video.

Honorable Mentions

#7 Miryo “Dirty”
This is the lead single from her first solo album. I don’t remember this song, but this video looks familiar. I think I’ve seen it before. This is a horrible hospital. What is their administration doing? There’s got to be a ton of health and safety rules being violated here. And what kind of big baller gets a big room like that all to themselves? She looks so cute though.

#8 Block B “Nalina”
Yet another song from this week where I’ve never seen the music video, but vaguely remember the chorus lol. I don’t think I really remember early Block B (is this considered early Block B?), they look so young and different!

I had forgotten about this, with the exception of Jimin with the big fur coat. I couldn't remember when he wore it and why.

I love HER and Danger they are both such good songs, and I enjoyed Block B and BTS doing a stage together.

Lovey dovey's dance was iconic! It's forever one of my favorite old kpop song

Watching that performance though....omg Soyeon isn't pulling off that outfit at all lol Hyomin, Eunjung, and Jiyeon really pulled off this comeback but Soyeon just looks awkward

Lovey Dovey with Kim Boa on the chorus is still a hit.

I really loved Miryo's solo album from which Dirrty came, her collab with Sunny on it was really nice.

Severely is a beautiful song, and I enjoyed the promo period mostly bc that was the last time fti actually won quite a bit and had some decent attention. The MV is so cringe though lmao, would had taken a boring band-performance MV over that any day (but get that predebut hype I guess Seolhyun)

Severely is such a gooood song! I still listen to it all the time. I love when FTI sing rock ballads - Hongki's voice suit that genre so much.

Hongki's vocals in the song (and like every other song) get to me every time! I love them promoting their hardest songs the best but I appreciated them using Wind as the title for their last comeback :')

"Severely" really a beautiful song! FTI will always have a special place in my heart as the 1st kpop group I watched live back in 2009.
