It has also been reported that BTS are currently on a much needed break after a very busy 2017, they will be with their families for Luna New Year celebrations and the new album is predicted to be released sometime after the fan meetings in Japan which are taking place in April.(x)

Didn’t they just recently mention that their album is in the planning stages? If that’s true then April is such a tight release schedule. I’m concerned about product quality tbh.

That being said I’m glad they’re taking a good long break. I still remember the promotional period where Taehyung looked dead and close to passing out more than once.

The fan meetings are in the second half of April (18-21, 23-24) so I don't think they're gonna release anything that month. May sounds more likely.

I'm glad they are resting and spending time with family. Yesterday I read a fan account of Jungkook with his mom and I guess he ended up giving a fan his autograph. But yeah they were really busy this year especially with so many overseas activities, they really needed a break.
