Not even my childhood faves over here are exempt; BSB hopping on the BTS train feels like a promo grab bc honestly they’ve been irrelevant for years now cuz their music just can’t keep up with the times.

that foreign fans thing was in THEIR OWN documentary (Show 'Em What You're Made Of) I watched it when it came out and it was a disaster. I was expecting a Take That Don't Look Back and Stare (which is fantastic tbh and that album was amazing) and got a garbage fire. :/

BSB was my very VERY first celebrities I've ever fangirl at, I remember I used to love them to death and Nick Carter was basically a walking God on earth lmfao. I didn't really keep my BSB albums bec flood incidents few years back, but I still have my scrapbooks about them.

But.

I'm somehow not happy with this. I should've been felt happy especially when Nick is the one mentioning about BTS.......... but really, uncles? Teens who were born in 1997++ barely know y'all. I even watched this reaction video thing where a girl couldn't name who's who in your group, which for me I think it's insane (bec BSB was super popular and they're still around). Y'all barely relevant at this age and trying to INVITE BTS to your tour?? bruhhh it should be BTS who invite you lmfao.
I feel like this whole name-dropping among US celebs are kinda funny, especially with this one, BSB. Also especially since they're no longer relevant lol

I keep reading "my 5yo/6yo/8yo/10yo is shaking/crying" and i'm like, fuck it i'm old I was like 12 when I got into BSB with their album Backstreet's Back and lived the full on teen Euphoria, I even chased their bus from L.A to Vegas during their Black & Blue tour lmao. I had just gotten my driver's permit. I was grounded for like 6 months for doing that lol.

I was also considered a bad fan because I liked Nsync's music lol, but 6yo me was crushing hard on JC since their Mickey Mouse club days.

Shit was wack back in the day too.
