Steve Aoki, the producer behind BTS’s hit “MIC Drop” remix, says he’s worked on some more music with the group!

During a recent interview with Trending Live, Steve Aoki was asked about how he ended up working with BTS on their remix. After talking about the experience of working on the collaboration with BTS and their production team in Korea and in the United States, he added, “And now we’ve got some new music coming out for 2018. So that’s exciting as well.”

“We got this remix to put out there, but now we have some original music too,” he said.

I'm excited to see what they've come up with! I do wish the new stuff has way less English. I just like them singing/rapping in mostly Korean better. Though I'm not keeping my hopes up lol.

they got lucky with the mic drop remix. steve is not exactly the best edm artist out there (i never liked any of his stuff besides the hook in boneless) but at least he didn't completely mess the remix up; it actually sounded decent. with original music however...i still feel 50/50 about it. we'll see what happens. worst case, we'll probably get something as bad as best of me.

They've been pretty clear about not singing in English no matter how many times the US media outlets annoy them about it.
I'm down with this. If the US can listen to stuff in Spanish, we can listen to stuff in Korean.

Since Mic Drop did do so well in the states, I am looking forward to this. I actually liked mic drop, but I liked the remix better, not sure why though :)

I know BTS doesn't want to do an English song, I hope in the future (not now) I would like just one song (Not a whole album) just one song to be English.
