Wendy, the main vocalist of K-pop girl group Red Velvet, gets personal in her first solo album where she focuses more on her vocals in songs about growth, recovery and friendship.
The singer, the first member of the iconic five-piece act to go solo, is set to drop her solo EP "Like Water" at 6 p.m. The five-track album includes the main tracks "Like Water" and "When This Rain Stops."
Leaving the typical Red Velvet sound -- characterized by infectious rhythm and catchy hooks -- aside for a moment, the 27-year-old vocalist said she tried to show a different side of her voice through her first solo release.

According to data from Statistics Korea, consumer spending at department stores surged by 33.5 percent in February, compared to a year ago, the largest growth since February 1996. The statistics authority started compiling data from 1995.
This is widely seen as a post-lockdown rebound here after the economy contracted 1 percent last year.
Statistics Korea said domestic consumption is showing signs of bouncing back after bottoming out in February 2020 when department store sales declined by 21.2 percent from the year before.

What about you, Omona? What has been your shopping habits this past year? I've only gone to mall twice to pick up items I purchased online (a new blender and some K-pop albums lol). I miss mall food court food so much.

waves-of-light.livejournal.comKakao is planning to spend 400 billion won to take over global web novel platform, Radish. This is expected to intensify the competition between Kakao and Naver with regard to their intellectual property (IP) business in the United States.
According to the Korea Economic Daily, Sunday, Kakao is reviewing acquiring the managerial rights of Radish through its content producing subsidiary Kakao Entertainment. Radish is the fifth-biggest web novel platform in the United States.
Kakao also confirmed that it is in the process of acquiring Radish.
"As there are more steps in the procedure that we need to go through to close the deal, we cannot go into much detail about it," a Kakao Entertainment official said.

I loled so much at Vincenzo and the plaza owner when they realized they lost the eye scanner. And our dear people at the plaza continues to play an important part in the story. Ok...I'm really bad at making predictions but I do feel that Kwak Dong Yeon will side with Vincenzo in the future but not get any redemption or whatsoever.
