It's not really interesting choreo, but the members sell it, for the most part. The best parts are the first 30s of the intro and then that last portion of the chorus with Dayoung in the center (2:50)
The arm part during Exy's rap and and Luda's center part is just awkward. && there's a good 30s where the members are doing effectively nothing other than sway+walk.
If you're not gonna make lively and fun choreo with a group that large, at least have interesting formations.
This was my problem with their debut, it was just pretty walking in between each other. Their choreo is so heavily reliant on music show camera work so you don't see the girls just standing waiting for their cue lol
I know the song is about feeling awkward but the dance doesn’t have to be too lmao. They can do so many cool formations and they have talented dancers so why the lame disco points and skinship?
But tbh their choreo has never been my favorite and this unfortunately is no exception. It was a fancam for one of the show performances that I noticed they’re still doing a lot of that standing off to the side during certain parts. I get it, bigger groups have to do it sometimes and it was even more noticeable with OT13, but it just takes me out of fully feeling it when you see girls standing off on the side. I think the last choreo I really liked from them was Boogie Up? I’d have to watch some old stages
ugh seola is one of the most beautiful people on earth. seriously.
i love their music but their choreos are... not great, lol. it's not impossible to have good choreo w/ large groups; even loona gets some interesting stuff. it's a waste to just have members standing and doing nothing!
The choreo is fine but I really dislike choreography that has large portions where the members are just standing to the side waiting for their cue. I understand it’s hard sometimes for bigger groups but it just feels like a missed opportunity to do something more interesting while utilising all the members.
I still think the choreo is meh. They found a great balance in their whole formation and actual dance thing with releases like Secret, Dreams Come a true (song was paid dust and for what???), SMSY, LLL and Butterfly (not beloved but like it wasn’t a bad performance).
Also why is Dawon in the back if she doing as libs?
