The MIC Drop Remix has been postponed for November 24. Mnet will live broadcast the AMAs. BTS are the new models for Lotte Duty Free and they posted the first batch of merch for the UNICEF Love Myself Campaign on the BTS Official Shop.

I'm still in this very "is this real life? what's happening? Where am I?!" kind of place about the whole thing. In twelve years of following Kpop (RIP my life) I would've never thought a 'grassroots' Kpop movement like this could take hold in the US. Other than something viral, I figured this was the way it was possible, because it's playing by American rules. Fanbase building first and catering to existing fans.

But I didn't think it would EVER ACTUALLY HAPPEN.

Yet, here we are.

I'm very curious how the fanchants will sound when the episode airs.
One helluva whirlwind day. Having Corden first was probably for the better. I think he's the most sociable/warm of the show hosts they'll be dealing with. Plus ARMY in full voice is certainly encouraging.

The chat conversations were so sweet I got a little emotional.

Waking up to all the content and seeing the boys being made to feel comfortable and being happy and amazed at everything that's happening makes me really happy! As exciting as all this should have been I've been more nervous and "meh" about the whole thing ever since we started getting the news of their promotions in the states. I was distancing myself to protect my emotions (if that makes sense). But I'm really happy that this has gone as well for them as it did. Reading accounts of them being all smiley and jimin freely handing out hugs to James is lovely 💖 You're doing great boys, hopefully the rest of these weeks go as smoothly!

I wanted to sleep early last night but I ended up going to bed at 4AM because of how excited I felt for them.
The kkt convo with Bang Sihyuk was cute as heck, I'm always curious about his interactions with the boys. And Jimin was really trying his best to speak english, he did well!! they all looked so happy aww, seriously, I have no complaint so far, from the airport to the show, everything went well... but the worst is yet to come lol.

this is too much for me my mind is about to sign tf out lmao. i've managed to watch the videos available of the show by taking like one-hour breaks between to let my overly sensitive ass have time to process it. i suspected that the non-performance parts were going to give me the worst cases of second hand embarrassment so i watched them last n it actually wasn't bad at all, so now i can finally breathe lol
part of me wants to find the fanchants during the performances embarrassing, but i'm too far gone so i'm just over here being a giddy mess. murican armys pulled through!
