for those who don't know, about a day or two ago, pics came out of Soyu and MadClown leaving the studio. These pics accompanied an article that, pretty transparently, suggested the two were dating. It (obviously) turns out to be publicity for Soyu and MadClown's duet Too Naïve/Stupid in Love which they'll be promoting on music shows.

If there is any active K-Pop group that proves that talent isn't all it takes to make it, it's SPICA. Almost every member is as good- if not better- than a number of main vocals in other groups, and leader Bo Ah used to be a vocal trainer for Sweetune, teaching heavy hitters like KARA and INFINITE how to sound their best. Netizens love to heap praises on SPICA for their vocals, but the praises have yet to manifest in strong sales or a significant following. However, it appears things are starting to look up after Jiwon featured in the MV for Baechigi's huge hit "Shower of Tears" earlier this year and even performed the song with them a few times. With Lee Hyori throwing all of her support behind the group, even acting as their mentor in a reality show, SPICA seems poised to make a much-needed step forward in their careers.

I'm completely biased but I think Boa's suited all their concepts so far. I didn't like Narae in Painkiller and Bohyung looked way too fierce in the beginning.. The stylists got it right for all of them this time imo!

Wonder Girls’ Sunye recalls “Tell Me” days with Ladies’ Code’s “Pretty Pretty”

Sunye revealed that Ladies’ Code’s latest track “Pretty Pretty” reminded her of the good old days of the Wonder Girls.

On September 4th, Sunye posted on her Twitter, “Pretty Pretty’!! It’s a song that reminds me of my ‘So Hot’ and ‘Tell Me’ days. Congrats on your comeback, Ladies’ Code!! :), expressing her support for the rookies.

Fellow JYP Entertainment artists 2PM’s Nichkhun and Jun.K also promoted Ladies’ Code’s “Pretty Pretty” through their personal SNS accounts.

“Pretty Pretty” is a fun number that features funky guitar rhythm and bright brass session. Hip hop musician Yang Dong Geun made a featuring in the song.

YGE and JYPE trainees to go head to head on 'WIN' + Team A and B performances

As per tradition, YG Entertainment and JYP Entertainment trainees always go head to head.

This year, 'WIN's Team A and Team B will be battling trainees from JYP Entertainment as evidenced on the preview for the next episode, just as Se7en and Rain, and Big Bang along with 2PM did in the past. The two producers Yang Hyun Suk and J.Y. Park are incredibly close friends, but they still didn't back up in their battle.

After the airing of the show on the 6th, the preview for the next episode showed the 11 boys of 'WIN' going over to the JYP Entertainment building to battle with the JYP Entertainment trainees. This episode will be special in that instead of Team A & B battling each other as they've been doing for the past few episodes, the boys will gather together as one group under the YG Entertainment name to go against another label.

Seohyun Prepares for Her Upcoming Drama

Seohyun has been hard at work preparing for her upcoming role as Han Yurim in the new SBS weekend drama, “Passionate Love”.

Photos of Seohyun diligently studying her script were released on September 6th. To more naturally express situations that she hasn’t experienced before, Seohyun hasn’t let go of her script while awake or asleep. She has also been doing image training to better portray her role as an intelligent university student.

Soon to be playing her first acting role, Seohyun said, “As ‘Passionate Love’ is my first work, it means a lot and is special to me. I’m really happy that I can fulfill a part of my life through ‘Passionate Love’.” She also also added, “These days, my head is filled with Yurim all day, and that’s how much I’m into ‘Passionate Love’. There will probably be a lot that I lack because it is my first attempt, but I will try to fulfill [the role] through hard work.”

The first episode of “Passionate Love” will air on September 28th on SBS.

Yedang Company, the mother company of Yedang Entertainment which is home to idol groups RANIA and C-CLOWN, is stepping out from Korea’s stock market after 12 years of trading.

Korea Exchange, Korea’s national stock exchange market, publicly announced last week that Yedang Company is appropriate for being delisted, with the delisting date set to September 9, after synthetically considering the firm’s sustainability and clarity.
