2NE1‘s Dara has given a few hints on the group’s upcoming single, “I Love You“.

Dara posted the photo below to me2day on June 30th and wrote, “To commemorate 2NE1′s release of the new track ‘I Love You’ on July 5th! Quiz on what genre it’ll be!!! I’ll give you a couple of hints so try guessing~ The correct answer will be revealed tomorrow night!!! ^^ Fighting! This song… is one that all ages will like! Hm… it doesn’t seem like a song 2NE1 would sing…! There’s a twist! It’s fusion! I’m itching [to tell you]! Hehehe.”

She added in the tags below her post: “2NE1, who has always yelled [things like] ‘Get away from me right now’, ‘Go away’, ‘You’re unlucky’, what kind of feel will ‘I Love You’ have…?!?” and shared the drawing below.

Fans commented, “Electric pop,” “Give me a teaser, please. I’m so curious,” and “I don’t think it’ll be a ballad.”

2NE1 REVEALS COMEBACK TEASER ON INKIGAYO

With 2NE1 set to make their comeback performance next week on Inkigayo, a teaser for “I LOVE YOU” was aired on today’s episode.

According to YG, 2NE1 will be releasing its album one song at a time, similar to what they did last year with “Lonely,” “I Am the Best,” “Hate You” and “Ugly.” A YG representative stated, “We will reveal their second single three weeks after the release of ‘I LOVE YOU.’ Instead of unveiling their entire album at once, they will focus on promoting one song at a time.”

B1A4's Live Debut Event in Japan Gathers 12,000 fans

Korean male five member group, B1A4, held their launch commemoration event for their Japanese debut single, 'Beautiful Target -Japanese ver.-' on the 1st of July at Kanagawa, Kawasaki Lazona plaza. Yesterday (30th of June), they held a handshake event at Tokyo Big Sight, and shook the hands of more than thirty thousand people for ten hours, and extremely enthusiastic fans flocked to the event. Leader Jinyoung said 'Although we are rookies who have just made our debut (in Japan), to have so many people come to support us is something that we are grateful for,' thanking the twelve thousand fans who gathered there.

Canadian envoy calls Korea's working holiday program 'biased'

Canada requested Thursday that its citizens on the working holiday program in Korea be granted the same benefits their Korean counterparts enjoy in the North American country.

"We have about 5,000 Canadians teaching English in Korea", David Chatterson, Canadian ambassador to Korea, told The Korea Times, explaining that they were E-2 visa holders and would not be eligible to teach if they were here on the working holiday program.

According to the Canadian Embassy in Seoul, the North American country allows Koreans on working holidays to find work in a broad range of fields, including teaching, while Canadians are not allowed to teach English in Korea.

NU'EST are coming back and they look the same

NU’EST, who’s receiving much attention for being one of 2012′s best rookie groups, will be making their comeback on July 11th! After releasing a teaser photo on June 27th, the group is stirring interest amongst netizens as they have just released a new album jacket photo for their comeback titled, “Action“.

The jacket photo shows each member overflowing with charisma and showcasing an upgraded and more polished image as they each don smokey-eye makeup.

Pledis Entertainment revealed “Compared to NU’EST’s debut album, which had a message about teen violence in schools, their title track ‘Action’ for this album will involve freedom of expression and molting of the old. Through this album, the group will be reborn, showing an upgraded image, music capability, and a more powerful dance performance. Please anticipate their album.”

Fans have been showing a hot reponse as they left comments such as, “This has given me a heart attack! Daebak!“, “They’re perfect on whatever concept they do“, “I wonder what message they have for us, this time“, and more.

Ahead of their comeback, NU’EST is planning on holding a ‘movie event’ with fans on July 7th. The group will be releasing their 1st mini album on July 11th
