Super Junior's Donghae-Eunhyuk Duet, Digital Single 'Oppa has Risen' has been announced

Super Junior's Donghae and Eunhyuk formed a duet together.


The announcement of the release of Eunhyuk and Donghae's digital single on the 16th is planned as a surprising project. 'Oppa has Risen' has a retro disco feel and lively rhythm with a blend of a fun and exciting beat and the lyrics is an exciting song that you can dance to, it was first performed to the public last November on Super Junior World Tour 'Super Show 4' Seoul.


This year-end performance will be performed by these two people as shown on concert stage and is special gift to the fans for them to enjoy.


Donghae and Eunhyuk will appear in KBS 'Music Bank' on the 16th and SBS 'Inkigayo' on the 18th, the exciting stage of 'Oppa has Risen' is already being anticipated by the fans.


Meanwhile Super Junior is scheduled to perform on the 10th and 11th at Osaka Kyocera Dome for Super Junior World Tour 'Super Show 4'.

Actor Kim Su Ro seems to be enjoying a certain limelight these days for a picture taken with Super Junior’s Heechul.

On December 9, Kim tweeted a picture with the comment “With Heechul”

In the picture, the twosomes are in a friendly pose, each gesturing “V” with their hands. Heechul is currently serving public service.

Former U-KISS member Alexander holds a Japanese showcase

Former U-KISS member Alexander met his fans for the first time in a year through a showcase in Japan.

At the showcase, Alexander performed Hyun Bin‘s “That Man” (from the ‘Secret Garden‘ soundtrack) as well as his new Japanese tracks like “Oh Baby” and “I’m JUST“.

“I studied Japanese in college, and I have a lot of interest in Japanese culture,” Alexander said. “I want to increase my Japanese skills even more and spread my Japanese activities ever further.”

He continued, “Although I’m very nervous without my U-KISS members, I’m happy that I got to meet with my fans after such a long time.”

Trailer released for ‘Koala Kid’ feat. SHINee’s Taemin & SNSD’s Sunny

SHINee‘s Taemin and SNSD‘s Sunny have lent their voices for the upcoming animated film, ‘Koala Kid: Birth of a Hero‘.

Taemin will voice-act as the main character, ‘Johnny’, a circus koala who’s suddenly thrown into the role of an unexpected hero. Though he was once an outcast, he makes friends with the beautiful and courageous ‘Miranda’ (Sunny), along with other animal friends in their quest to save the natural habitats of Australia.

The movie will be released in January of next year. In the meantime, check out its trailer below!

N. Korean defectors to get no help / Govt promises China it won't give sanctuary

The Japanese government pledged in a document it submitted to the Chinese government early this year that Japan will not bring North Korean defectors into Japanese diplomatic establishments in China to protect them, it has been learned.

The document says Japan "will respect China's domestic laws and will not bring defectors from outside diplomatic establishments into the diplomatic establishments," according to Japanese government officials. It was submitted at the request of the Chinese government, the officials said.

The Japanese government apparently gave in to pressure from China, a supporter of North Korea, and virtually gave up protecting North Korean defectors.

According to the officials, the government submitted the document during negotiations with the Chinese government over the transfer to Japan of five North Korean defectors, who were taken into protective custody by the Japanese Consulate General in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, in 2008 and 2009.

South Korea to allow lighting of 2 more Christmas trees at border with North Korea

South Korea will allow Christians to light two more Christmas tree-shaped towers near the tense border with North Korea despite strong opposition from Pyongyang, an official said Sunday.

The South Korean government allowed a Christian group to light a massive steel Christmas tree near the border last year for the first time in seven years as tensions flared in the wake of two deadly attacks blamed on the North.

That tree will be lit again this month, while South Korea has also decided to allow other Christian groups to light two other front-line Christmas trees, a Defense Ministry official said.

The decision is meant to help guarantee freedom of expression and religion, the official said on condition of anonymity, citing office policy.

Earlier we reported that the December 10th edition of SBS's Star King played the "Truth game" featuring special guests who claimed to be related to Korean celebrities.

Turns out among the variety of guests BoA's real older brother Kwon Soonhwon was there. Kwon Soonhwon is actually BoA's oldest brother, she has two.

At age 32, he is a pianist, music producer, and lectures at a University. During the show, he revealed a picture of BoA when she was around 2-3 years old and even played her hit song No.1.

After dropping an MV for their track “Us, That Day” last month, indie-jazz group Urban Zakapa has joined in welcoming the wintertime with their jazzy song “Snowing” which they produced for a Baskin Robbins CF. Also planned in the festivities is their Merry Urban Zakapa concert later this month, on December 23.
