SPIN magazine recently unveiled their list of 2011′s top 20 songs, and HyunA‘s “Bubble Pop” made its mark at #9!

SPIN is a world-famous music magazine, and so for HyunA to be ranked among internationally-acclaimed artists such as Adele and Beyonce is an enormous honor.

This is yet another accolade HyunA has secured under her belt, and her achievement only further proves that K-Pop is making significant waves all over the world.

2NE1′s “I’m The Best” featured on 25,000 Christmas light show

Listen to Our Lights based out of Austin, Texas are quite famous for putting on Mega Christmas Light display shows. They utilize over 25,000 computerized LED lights and synchronize them to music.

In the past, they’ve put on a lot of light shows synchronized to Pop music but this year they decided to do one for K-pop. The song they chose was 2NE1‘s “I am the Best” and the results are very impressive.

Super Junior's Siwon and Kim Yoonseo in the spotlight for dating rumors

Super Junior's Siwon and actress Kim Yoonseo are sprawled between rumours that they are currently dating. Earlier today, a report from online entertainment news StarNnews revealed a report that two have been dating for two months, believed to be close after working in the drama series "Poseidon" together.

The report came from unidentified source from StarNnews who is said to be an official in the entertainment industry.

Both Siwon and Yoonseo have been working in the drama "Poseidon," in which she played a cop and friend of lead actress Lee Siyoung's character. Choi Siwon, on the other hand, played a special forces soldier.

To clarify the reports, an official from Kim Yoonseo's agency, J&S Entertainment revealed that they couldn't give a response as she is currently overseas for a shoot. They further stated that although they have kept in touch with her, the agency has not been able to ask her specifically about the issue.

The official further added, "People may have misunderstood them because they shot 'Poseidon' together and are of similar ages, but the first thing to do is to check with the actors first."

Representing Choi Siwon, SM Entertainment further released a statement stating that the news is false. Siwon also denied the rumors, further confirming that they are not dating. Siwon is currently with the rest of Super Junior for their "Super Show 4" concerts in Japan in Osaka December 10th and 11th.

Netizens go crazy as suzy wears a see through top

Screenshots of miss A's Suzy in a lacy see-through top have been the buzz, after they were posted on an online community under the title, "18 year-old Suzy's see-through look." These screenshots were captured from a broadcast on Mnet Wide Entertainment News, where videos from the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards were featured. Amongst them was one of Suzy in the midst of rehearsals.

The first picture shows Suzy in a pair of black skinny jeans and a purple knit top, looking innocent and pretty. However, the same outfit from the back gave an unexpected view. The back of her top is made entirely of lace and thus completely see-through. The fact that this is not her stage costume but her everyday wear caught netizens' attention.

They commented, "She is beautiful even from the perspective of a female," "Fashionable," "Please don't wear these kind of clothes yet," and "Goddess no matter what she wears."

Meanwhile, she is involved in the second season of "Invincible Youth," and will make her big screen debut next year through the movie "An Introduction to Architecture."

On the upcoming 30-31 Shin Hye Sung will hold a 2 day concert at the main auditorium of Yonsei University in Schinchon Seoul, with the title of '2011~2012 SHINHYESUNG CONCERT-THE YEAR'S JOURNEY', in this concert fellow Shinhwa members Eric and Jun Jin will have a special duo performance.

Kim Sun Ah revealed her surprising friendship with pop queen BoA. Writing through her me2day account, Kim Sun Ah said, “No. 1 Boa is awesome~~ We’vealways dreamed about being different, hehe.” She added, “I should have stood further back when taking the picture! BoA is awesome! She always carefully monitors my dramas and always cheers me on. She is always~~ the No.1 girl! She is so cool these day!”

The actress from ‘My Name is Kim Sam Soon‘ and ‘Scent of a Woman‘ made several little jokes in her post by referring to BoA as “No.1″, which is also the name of the song that allowed BoA’s popularity in Korea to explode.

The two stars look like sisters as they pose for the camera with their makeup-free faces. Netizens commented, “It’s nice to see the closeness between the two of you” and “Kim Sun Ah’s famous connections. She seems to know everyone!”

B1A4 draws 1,000 fans to their first Japanese showcase

Rookie group B1A4 is preparing for their Japanese debut and began off-shore promotions on a successful note by drawing over 1,000 fans to their first showcase.

The boys performed nine of their tracks to a rapt audience, including their debut song, “O.K“, as well “Beautiful Target“.

At the press conference, leader Jinyoung talked about their Japanese promotions. “We want to show our skills in Japan as well,” he said. Fellow member Gongchan agreed, “We will work hard in Japan to win the rookie award here, as well.”

Contracted with famous talent company Pony Canyon, B1A4 is scheduled to officially debut in Japan in summer next year. Prior to their debut, however, they will release a compilation album of their first two Korean releases, “Let’s Fly” and “It B1A4“, on January 25th.

It was bound to happen: Kikwang hurts himself

It has just been reported that B2ST‘s Kikwang sprained his ankle while on the set of ‘I’m a Flower Too’.

On December 10th, Kikwang pulled a ligament while exercising during his break time between filming. He was taken to the hospital and had a short leg cast put on.

Cube Entertainment told Star News on December 11th, “Although it’s not a severe injury that affects his ability to walk greatly, he had the short leg cast put on him for fast recovery.”

Kikwang is scheduled to perform on stage with the other artists from Cube Entertainment for the ‘United Cube Concert’ in Brazil on December 13th (local time).

The agency stated, “He will go on stage after we have determined his health condition. However, since this is not a big injury, we expect that he will be okay to perform on stage.”

Kikwang will be leaving for Brazil later today after finishing the filming for ‘I’m a Flower Too’.

Outrage over plans for Korean buildings identical to burning Twin Towers... and the architects claim they didn't notice

• Company MVRDV says it didn't 'see resemblance during the design process'

This does not appear to be a sick joke. Architects have designed a pair of apartment towers in South Korea that are unbelievably reminiscent of the 9/11 attacks on New York's World Trade Centre.
These incredible pictures show how Dutch architecture firm MVRDV somehow managed to design the eerie 260-metre and 300-metre towers next to each other, connected by a ‘pixelated cloud’.
And in a good contender for quote of the year, a company statement insists they did not ‘see the resemblance during the design process’ for the buildings - due to be completed in Seoul in 2015.

Daughter of late composer Yun files complaint against abductees' relative

The daughter of a late renowned South Korean composer has filed a complaint against a high-profile South Korean man whose family members are being held in North Korea, an official said Saturday.

The move by Yun Isang's daughter comes amid a growing public campaign for the return of Oh Kil-nam's wife and two daughters who are believed to have been held in a North Korean political prison camp for more than two decades.

Oh has claimed his family was lured to North Korea in 1985 after he got a doctorate in economics in West Germany. Oh said he was influenced by Yun's letter and subsequent attempts by Yun's associates to coax him into going to North Korea.
