Hwanhee becomes one with nature in Japan

It’s often easy to overlook the beauty of nature when we’re constantly surrounded by technological advancements, moreso for celebrities who are always in the glitz and glam of the spotlight. Soloist Hwanhee recently revealed that he became one with nature while filming for his movie ‘Star‘ in Japan. He revealed, “I stayed at an island for the majority of the three weeks I was in Japan. The scenery was just so beautiful that I felt connected to nature.”

Although the typhoon made it difficult to focus on the second half of the required filming in Japan, Hwanhee revealed that he spent some quality time to himself while waiting. “The typhoon missed our island by just a bit so there weren’t any big problems. Instead, there was nothing else to do during the downtime so I simply observed the scenery. I’d go out in shorts and slippers and sleep with lizards and eat outside as well.”

It wasn’t until he got back to Tokyo that he realized how connected he had been to nature all month long. “I spent the last two days in Tokyo and found myself in awe after simply seeing cars pass by on the streets. It seems I really was one with nature. Fortunately, I completed the required filming safely.”

When asked about his role of ‘Romi’ in the movie, he explained, “Romi is a singer so there weren’t any difficulties, but I am disappointed in that I wasn’t able to promote my solo album because of the movie.”

‘Star’ is scheduled to hit theaters early next year.

Another girl group has emerged, N.A.P Entertainment is unleashing ’C-REAL‘ consisting of five girls Chemi (Kim Young Won, 18), Lady (Lee Da Hee, 17), Effy (Lee Ji Hoon,17 ), NJay (Jo Yeo Woon, 16), and Leni (Lee Yoo Jin, 15).

These girls have reportedly been in the making for two years and Representative Choi stated that he was looking for the next young IU, and have been labeling the girls the ’5 IU mini me’s’.

AVEX abruptly cancels the release of GD&TOP's "Oh Yeah" due to G-Dragon's drug scandal

Member of BIGBANG, G-Dragon, was investigated by the prosecutor's office in Seoul (South Korea) due to suspicion of smoking marijuana last May. The result of the drug test came out positive but there weren't any legal penalties because only the hair test was positive.

Avex and YG Entertainment had a discussion after Avex heard the announcement. G-Dragon received a suspension of indictment but the news has an influence on how he will be viewed by Japanese society. Because of this, Avex has considered this fact sincerely and has decided to cancel the release of GD&TOP's Japanese single, Oh Yeah (feat BOM of 2NE1) on November 9th, even if the incident happened before they had a contract with Avex.

We apologize to everyone and to all of the fans for this incident. We will try our best so that something like this will not happen ever again.

New singer Fat Cat (Kim So Young) has been gathering attention with some speculating whether she’ll become the next Lee Hyori.

Fat Cat debuted on September 26th with “Indifferent Love“, and immediately began ranking 1st in search terms on various online portals. Her signature “clock” dance in particular caught a lot of eyes. The “tik tok dance” is reported to be created by the same choreographer, Bae Sang Mi of Nana School, who created Lee Hyori’s “U-Go Girl” as well as the choreographer’s husband who is a professor of arts and dance. They’ve previously created dances for fink.L, Um Jung Hwa, SNSD, and Baby VOX.

Cha Seungwon to star in T-ara's 2-part music video

Actor Cha Seungwon will star in T-ara's new music video series.

T-ara plan to create a 2-part music video for their Cho Youngsoo produced song, "Cry Cry" and Shinsadong Tiger produced song, "lovey-dovey". The 30-minute music video will be in the form of a drama and directed by the famous music video and CF director Cha Euntaek. Starring in this 2-part series will Cha Seungwon who played 'Dokgo Jin' in the drama "The Greatest Love".

T-ara said, "We're very touched that Cha Seungwon sunbae is able to be in our music video even during his busy activities. We liked him during the MBC drama 'The Greatest Love' and we wanted to work together with him just once, so we are very happy to meet him through this great opportunity we both have."

T-ara are working with the nation's greatest composers such as Cho Youngsoo, Shinsadong Tiger, Brave Brothers and Kang Jiwon to create the best quality album possible. T-ara's new song's concept is currently being discussed and decided confidently and privately and they are expected to return in early November.

G-Dragon is setting new standards in the Korean pop music scene. This article delves deeper into what he thinks of fashion, music, being a musician and the Hallyu Wave.

The generation of dancing singers and idol groups began in earnest in 1990. Even in it’s short history, there is bound to be somebody who would bring about a radical change. Someone who would bring about change similar to what Seo Taiji and the Boys, Deux, and H.O.T brought to the table in terms of music and choreography. If we were to pick someone now, that would be G-Dragon. This l’enfant terrible, who is Big Bang’s leader and a musician in his own right, is now 24 years old. Admittedly, his start wasn’t all that different from what other idols went through. At a tender age, he was selected by an entertainment agency and went through exhaustive trainee preparations in wait of his debut. However, G-Dragon doesn’t just sing and dance, he composes the songs and calibrates the fashion and attitude to match each song. As a producer, he also actively contributes ideas for the choreography, stage set-up, and album artwork. This is the reason why G-Dragon and Big Bang cannot simply be labeled as mere idols.

Last night, Mnet aired the "2011 Hallyu Dream Wave" concert that took place on October 3rd in place of its music show, M! Countdown, resulting in no winner formally announced for this week. However, Mnet's M! Countdown website has been updated following the broadcast of the "2011 Hallyu Dream Wave" concert on October 6th.

This week's winner on M! Countdown is the Brown Eyed Girls with their title song "Sixth Sense." This is the group's first win since their comeback with their 4th studio album.

Taking 2nd place is Infinite's "Paradise," while Huh Gak's "Hello" goes down to 3rd place. Super Junior's "A-Cha" can be found on 4th place and Sung Shikyung's "Even Now" placed 5th place.

5Zic from an upcoming group with a ridiculous name reveals solo mv

Earlier this month, Jungle Entertainment revealed their plans to debut a whole new hip-hop group later in October. Though the group hasn't made its official debut yet, the members are set to promote their own solo songs previously to the album's release.

On Friday, October 7th, the first member to reveal his solo song and music video was be 5Zic. His song and MV includes a "superheroes" theme. He is scheduled to promote the song for 2-3 days before the next member reveals his solo song.

M.I.B, whose name stands for "Most Incredible Busters," will be releasing a studio album for their debut on October 25th, including various group songs as well as the members' solo releases.

Jungle Entertainment houses multiple wellknown rappers such as Leessang, Drunken Tiger and Yoon Mirae.

In celebration of his son Harang‘s birthday, Jinusean‘s Sean has revealed that he will be sponsoring the cochlear implant surgery of another deaf child.

On October 3rd, Sean revealed his plans for Harang’s fourth birthday by writing:

“Today is Harang’s fourth birthday. Starting last year, we started saving $10 each day after Harang’s third birthday and saved up $3,650 USD. We’ll be using that to pay for the choclear implant surgery of a deaf child.

This will be the fourth child that Harang will be helping. Every year, for Harang’s birthday, we try to help another child in need of surgery. If our Harang lives healthily until he’s 70 years old, then Harang will be able to help the lives of 70 children in his lifetime. Until Harang’s old enough to work and make money on his own, we’ll be saving $10 each day. Once Harang’s old enough, he’ll be saving $10 each day. It’s a ‘happiness of $10′ project that we’ve started in hopes of raising Harang to live a happier life through helping others.

Mother and father prays every day for you to live as a son of the Lord, Harang. Happy birthday, our amazing Harang! Each of our children save $10 a day to help others. If our Ha Eum, Harang, Ha Yul, and Ha El all live healthily until they turn 70, then 280 children can have cochlear implant surgery. Isn’t this a miracle in itself?”

In 2008, Sean opted to sponsor the treatment of three children suffering complications, in need of leg surgery, and in need of cochlear surgery in place of holding an elaborate first birthday celebration for Harang. In 2009 and 2010, he’s also kept his promise by sponsoring two more cochlear implant surgeries.
