Today, (Sept, 27th) Han Geng’s current Compant Le Hua Ent sent a statement and the legal documentations confirming Han Geng and SM’s exclusive contract dispute ended in the voiding of the exclusive contract.

In regards to the Seoul High Court case number 2011-13014 in regards to the case of the validity of the exclusive contract, Han Geng and SM has reached an amicable mutual agreement. Ending in Han Geng filing a “Notice of Appeal Withdrawal”.

Han Geng will continue activities in China like usual, there are no plans for any Korean activities yet.

Hwang Jung Eum and No Min Woo Confirmed for “Full House 2” + Famous Male Idol to Join Cast?

“Can You Hear My Heart’s” Hwang Jung Eum is considering the lead female role in upcoming drama “Full House 2.” The singer-turned-actress has gained tremendous popularity through sitcom “High Kick through the Roof” and dramas “Giant” and “Can You Hear My Heart.” A representative of the drama described that Hwang Jung Eum’s spunky personality fit well with the female lead character. Meanwhile, "My Girl is a Gumiho's" No Min Woo is also looking over the male lead role. “Full House 2” is the sequel to the widely popular 2004 drama “Full House,” starring Jung Ji Hoon (aka Rain) and Song Hye Kyo.

On September 25, a representative of Core Contents Media carefully stated, “It is true that we are considering her appearance in ‘Full House 2,’ but we are also reviewing other possible dramas, movies, and projects along with ‘Full House 2.” We have not decided on anything yet.”

It has been confirmed this morning (September 26) that both Hwang Jung Eum and No Min Woo are onboard "Full House 2" as the lead characters. Producers of the drama are currently in the talks of casting another male lead from a famous idol band.

Idol group Nine Muses wrapped up their “Figaro” promotions last week, but before they left, they handed out some heartwarming gifts to their beloved fans.

The girls came up with the idea of personally penning letters to their fans, and they attached a ‘one-in-the-world’ autographed polaroid of themselves. These were presented to the fans who came to their last broadcast performance on September 25th.

2NE1 As the Third Foreign Band to Rank First on ORICON Weekly in Japan!

Just recently, popular South Korean group 2NE1 released their mini album "NOLZA", which also marked their debut in Japan. It has now become know that the release ranks first within the ORICON weekly charts dated October 3rd, which is until now the third time ever in history for an foreign group's debut in Japan. 

Other groups that managed to rank first on the weekly charts with their debut record were KARA, with their single "JET COASTER" and SNSD - GIRLS'GENERATION with their album "GIRLS'GENERATION" - both released this year.

"We are too happy about this and can't quite realize it. With this mini album, we are showing who 2NE1 are right now, and we will work hard on showing yet another side of us on the next record. We would like even more people in Japan to know about 2NE1," CL stated her excitement on the news.

Further, 2NE1 will be releasing a new single on November 16th, which will also contain their biggest hit "GO AWAY" in the Japanese version!

Earlier, ZIA announced that her new music video would star popular ’We Got Married‘ couple, T-ara‘s Eunjung and Lee Jang Woo. Following up, she’s revealed some new still-cuts from her comeback MV.

As previously reported, her title track, “I’m Like This“, was produced by composer Jun Hae Sung, who’s created a number of hits for Baek Ji Young, Davichi, and Huh Gak. While her song generated much interest, netizens were more intrigued by the fact that Eunjung and Lee Jang Woo would portray a couple that’s madly in love for her MV.

ZIA will be releasing her comeback album, “Avancer“, on September 30th.

U-KISS has canceled all of their schedules for September 27th to give the boys some rest from their extremely stressful schedules.

On September 27th, NH Media announced, “U-KISS will be canceling everything they have scheduled to take time off and rest.”

Since their “Neverland” comeback, the boys have been traveling all over the world to promote their album as actively as possible.  Unfortunately, the fatigue and stress piled up, which representatives took immediate notice of.  Recognizing that this could affect the boys’ promotions, NH Media decided to go ahead and cancel all activities to give them a moment to breathe.

On the 24th, the boys headed to Malaysia and returned on the 25th to perform on ‘Inkigayo‘.  They then went over to Japan to handle issues relating to their visas for their future promotions. They still have music programs lined up, as well as a trip to Taiwan on October 3rd.

Representatives stated, “Their health and stamina can only take so much and it seems their limits have been reached.  We were intending to focus on their Korean promotions this time but with the addition of overseas activities, they tried so very hard to work diligently in everything. Now, it’s hard for them to mentally stand the day.”

The members themselves said, “Although we tried to focus on just our Korean promotions, there were activities that we just couldn’t pass up in consideration for our futures.  We’re trying our best to handle both at once, but fatigue is inevitably building up. We’re all young, though, so resting one day is already energizing in itself.  We’ll come back with a more lively image starting tomorrow.”

Rania to Work With Brave Brothers for Comeback

Even though RaNia‘s former producer Teddy Riley has jumped ship over to SM Entertainment to produce SNSD’s new single, the girls have dusted themselves off and moved onto greener pastures, and are now working with A-List K-Pop hitmaker Brave Brothers on their upcoming comeback single. RaNia have been hinting at working with a famous mystery producer for the past few months, but the cat was fully let out of the bag this week when one of the producers at the BraveSound studios tweeted that the girls were there recording.

Brave Brothers often receives a lot of flack for his cheap-yet-addictive brand of dance-pop, but his sound and style is a perfect fit for RaNia. Unlike a lot of other K-Pop producers, Brave Brothers doesn’t really work with cutsie, aegyo idols, and is more geared towards edgier artists like SISTAR, After School, U-Kiss, BIGBANG, and his own girl group, Brave Girls. He’s also on a high right now after recently landing a No. 1 hit on the GAON charts with SISTAR’s “SO COOL”, which has further helped to raise his profile as one of the top producers in K-Pop.

There’s no release date for RaNia’s new music yet, but back in July they said it would be another single album, so expect them to return with about 2-3 new songs when they eventually do come back.

RaNia’s K-Pop debut may have gone up in flames after “Dr. Feel Good” flopped and Teddy Riley split with the group, but the girls have actually done a lot better than many other rookie groups this year. They learned English to try and crack the States, and while their US debut never materialized, their bilingual language skills have allowed them to promote all over Asia, with successful showcases and performances in Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia, with more countries in the pipeline.

Not only are RaNia one of the sexiest girl groups out, but they’re one of the most talented in singing and dancing, so we definitely haven’t seen the last of them yet. Let’s just hope that Brave Brothers actually gives them a killer single, rather than that leftover Danity Kane B-Side Teddy Riley lumped them with for their debut!

JYJ’s Junsu plays Starcraft on MBC Game’s ‘@Play’

On September 26th, JYJ‘s Junsu made a surprise appearance on MBC Game‘s ‘@Play‘, and played a game of Starcraft with gagman Kim Hyung In.

The star’s already known for his exceptional gaming skills, so fans weren’t surprised to see him come away with a final win after a 1:1
battle. The studio followed up by calling him on the phone for an interview. Junsu stated, “This is JYJ’s Junsu.  I’m actually quite shy greeting you like this.”

After talking a bit about his match with Kim Hyung In, he stated, “It’s an honor to be able to play with him.  I’m a big fan of ‘@Play’ and enjoy watching the show because I’m also friends with MC Seo Kyung Jong. I realized what pro gamers go through because I tried to relax and just
have fun but I was more nervous than I thought, making mistakes I didn’t think I would.”

Kim Bum plays a “4-D angel Lee Gook-soo,” so I guess they really are giving him the name Noodles, and not in a prison-nickname sort of way. (Gook-soo = noodles.) Jung Woo-sung plays Yang Kang-chil, a man who has served 16 years of hard time on a false murder charge. That means he was probably around Gook-soo’s age when he was locked up; perhaps that accounts for their bond.

The shoot pictured here took place in Seoul on the 21st, with the two guys arriving in Seoul and finding it unfamiliar but exciting. I’ll bet, especially if this is their first destination post-jail time.

Han Ji-min, meanwhile, is cast as Jung Ji-na, an “extremely pragmatic, selfish” woman. The drama premieres on cable channel jTBC on December 5.
