Is Yonghwa unable to forget his ex-wife Seohyun? The idol’s true thoughts about his former “We Got Married” partner were revealed on the Twitter of Mnet’s “M! Countdown“.

When asked the question, “I hope __ will cheer me on during today’s performance?”, the CNBLUE member chose Seohyun out of Kim Yuna and Secret Garden’s Gil Raim.

Seohyun and Yonghwa ended their marriage on MBC’s “We Got Married” on April 2nd, and the couple teared up at their last filming, even giving each other hugs for the first time.

Netizens commented, “Oh! Jung Yong Hwa is revealing his true feelings this way”, “I bet the CNBLUE boys miss Seohyun too”, and “They really looked good together“.

Kim Hyunjoong solo debut in June

Actor (lol) and SS501 member Kim Hyunjoong will also be releasing his solo debut album this year. He is the fourth SS501 this year to be releasing a solo album. He follows Park Jungmin ("The, Park Jungmin"),Kim Hyungjoon ("Girl"), and Heo Youngsaeng ("Let It Go"). Kim Kyujong is the only SS501 member to have not announced an album release so far, and he will be focusing on his acting instead.

Kim Hyunjoong's solo album will be released in June and he will make his official debut as a solo singer. A representative from his agency, Key East, said to Newsen in an interview on April 8th, "A variety of songs have been selected and he will soon go into recording."

He will be focusing on the recording of his album and will not participate in external activities.

Super Junior Kyu Hyun Involved in Car Accident

Super Junior’s Kyu Hyun was involved in a car accident earlier this morning, suffering a contusion on his arm and leg, SM Entertainment (SME) said today. “Around 5AM on Friday, Kyu Hyun was taken to a local hospital after crashing into a truck changing lanes. He was diagnosed with arm and leg contusions but no structural damages were found in his bones,” SME said through a statement. He is currently in a stable condition but is being closely examined in case of more serious problems.

Kyu Hyun was on his way to the southern city of Gwangju for his musical show, “The Three Musketeers,” but got hit by a truck around Jeong Eub, a small city near Gwnagju. Due to the injury, Kyu Hyun will not appear on Friday’s show. “The Three Musketeers” is Kyu Hyun’s first musical appearance as he was casted for the role of the main protagonist, D’Artagnan.

Korean TV series and documentaries sold at media market in France

Several Korean TV series and documentaries have garnered much interest from foreign buyers at a media market fair in France this week, according to the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) on Friday.

KOCCA announced in a press release that over 22 billion dollars worth of Korean TV series, documentaries and animations were been sold at the MIPTV 2011 Media Market held in Cannes, France from April 2 to 7.

Making their debut in Korea with the song “Come Back Again” with a mix of the memorable guitar replay and digital sound, INFINITE garnered attention for a “stylish song that didn’t seem idol-like.” They have for 4 months released continuously limited rental singles in Japan! 

 

● The term “limited rental single” is the style you guys are approaching with your debut in Japan nearing. How do you feel? 

   - Woohyun: Honestly, we didn’t know either. In Korea, there’s no shops like TSUTAYA, so the feelings are fascinating. 

   - Dongwoo: But being the firsts to attempt with that approach in that rental shop made us extremely happy. 

[*T/N: Tsutaya is a rental shop in Japan where you can rent DVDs/CDs and I believe that Infinite is the first Korean group to take this approach in putting out their albums for rentals.] 

● INFINITE is known for their uniformity in their choreographies. How long did you practice? 

   - Dongwoo: It varies on the day, but it’s often that we practice from the middle of the night till dawn. 

   - Hoya: To see if our choreography is perfect, we record it on tape to check. We replay it over and practice the parts in having our hands or feet be in the same direction.

 Through a recent picture, Brian Joo revealed his ongoing friendship with former labelmates, TVXQ. Brian is a member of Fly to the Sky, which was managed by SM Entertainment until 2004.

After uploading the photo, the star mused, “My precious dongsaengs Yunho & Changmin, with whom I’ve been close to even before debut”.

Brian is seen smiling brightly, as he supports the friendly weight of TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin. Although Brian is TVXQ’s senior, his youthful looks and close relationship with the pair makes him seem like he’s a part of TVXQ as well.

Professor Sawaguchi States "Girls' Generation Helps in Developing the Brain"

Professor Sawaguchi from Hokkaido University appeared on a Japanese show recently and announced, "From a brain study point of view, ‘Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)’ by Girls' Generation has an effect that cheers people up."
Also, he added "Girls' Generation has long arms and legs that are perfectly symmetrical, which is good for the brain even by just watching their performances.

Furthermore, he said "Their mid-range tone (of voice) is just about perfect for the brain, and has an effect of cheering people up. Most of Girls' Generation’s dances emphasize on mostly the hands and legs, so dancing along also helps develop the brain".

Lastly, he answered ‘yes’ when the other panels asked him, "Do all of Girls' Generation’s dances help with developing the brain?", and stated his opinion that "Out of all the songs, 'Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)' helps with brain development and cheering people up the most".

When netizens heard this, they stated "This group scientifically cheers up people", "Should I dance to Girls' Generation songs whenever I'm depressed?", showing interest to Professor Sawaguchi's opinion.
