When they did whatever version of Regis and Kelly (Idk who was hosting with Kelly those days) Howie Mandell was there being awkward and the girls have an interview so I can see that being a bit embarrassing.
I think it's just really weird because k-pop is so controlled in its flashiness. Seeing them perform with a simple setup and basic camera work and lighting just made them seem out of place. It isn't super uncomfortable, but it's unnecessary.
