Another episode of Strong Heart, another stirrup of controversy...

On the episode of SBS Strong Heart aired on the 15th, the comical Super Junior trio (Leeteuk, Shindong, and Eunhyuk) conducted a short segment of revealing look-alike pictures of the stars. During this special segment, Leeteuk unveiled a picture of a woman who shared amazingly common features with himself. He even made the same face expression to match the woman's to add the fun, and there were no doubts that these two faces were identical indeed. This scene was captioned, "Teuk's identical Japanese actress."

However, it seems like the captioning team forgot to add an important word before the 'actress' - AV, adult video. You guessed it. The girl in the picture was actually a Japanese porn star! What a Strong Heart to find such picture.

The netizens have commented in shock,

"I was so shocked while watching the episode."
"I wonder if Leeteuk knew the person in the picture was an AV star..."
"They look alike so much."



On the other hand, the other side of the netizens didn't stop to criticize the show for their lack of appropriateness.

Rain, “MBLAQ is my first and will be my last production”

Singer Rain gives a shocking confession about group MBLAQ groomed personally by himself as his “first and last producing.”

Rain had a fanmeeting ‘Rain on Christmas’ on 17th December in Seoul KangNamGoo with readers of HighCut magazine. He said, “Perhaps, these friends (MBLAQ) will be the first and last that I will produce. I just want to give hope to these kids. I have been through times when I want to dance but I have no money and can’t do so. Now I’m just giving my help to these kids.”

He continued, “The road that I’ll walk is still very far. As an actor, I still have many to improve on, and as a singer I still need to work harder to do better. I still have so far to go, and who am I teaching now? If MBLAQ does well, doesn’t mean that I can produced out other kids too?” and spoke with hope.

He ended, “First, I want to concentrate on these friends (MBLAQ), and then concentrate on myself” expressing the wish to mature as an entertainer. But he continued, “But then again, you would know. I may just change my mind some day.”

KBS 2TV ‘Invincible Youth’ G7 members have confessed that they are fans of 2PM and also revealed their ideal type of guy.

During the recent episode of Youth Invincible, the G7 members like So Nyeo Shi Dae Sunny, T-ara HyoMin, KARA Goo Hara etc went to the marketplace to get their Christmas tree and they accidentally stumbled upon 2PM socks which were on sales.

The girls then picked out their favourite 2PM socks and revealed their ideal guy. So Nyeo Shi Dae Sunny revealed TaecYeon as her ideal guy, she has whispered shyly into ShinYoung’s ear that TaecYeon is her ideal guy, making the other girls curious.

But Sunny got herself a strong rival. And she is KARA Goo Hara who also chose TaecYeon. With that Sunny was ‘angry’ and even ‘threatened’ Hara silently during that episode. In the end, Hara has to go with Nich Khun as her ideal type, which was a funny episode for the other members.

Meanwhile, HyoMin chose WooYoung and also expressed her wish for WooYoung to appear on Invincible Youth for once.

SBS is cutting FO. IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD!

It was announced on the 17th that SBS has taken the decision to end their flagship program, Family Outing this coming January 2010.

The countdown has apparently begun as SBS has decided against renewing their contract with the production company that produces Family Outing. SBS are currently preparing for another program to take its place.

Family Outing has enjoyed high popularity ever since it's debut in June 2008. But it has recently been embroiled in lots of controversies involving scripted lines, fishy situations, etc plus recycled scenarios, resulting in a huge decline in ratings.

Yoo Jae Suk has also signaled his decision to leave when his contract is up in January 2010, which ultimately means that the program can't continue since he's the focal point.

A SBS staff expressed, "The end of Family Outing is more or less decided already. We are currently preparing a new real outdoor variety show which will include 6 - 7 MCs. Our target is for it to debut at the end of January 2010, with our first recording scheduled in mid-January. We have already signed on 2 idol group members, 2 - 3 actors/gagmen thus far. The MCs have yet to be decided."

On December 17, these 4 top stars held a fan meeting event at the Tokyo Dome and spend their time together with their J-fans from 1 pm local time ’till finish. It is also reported that these ‘4 Kings’ have managed to gather 30.000 fans in total to the fan meeting site!

Previously, these Hallyu Stars arrival were also warmly welcomed by their fans at the airport proven their status as top Hallyu Stars.

SHINee + f(x) + Super Junior Hand Printing Event!

SM Entertainment's corporate affiliate SM Amusement opened the cultural space "everysing" in Myungdong on December 18th.

At 2 PM of the 18th, SM artists Super Junior's Lee Teuk, Eunhyuk, Shindong, Yesung, and Sungmin as well as SHINee and f(x) all came and participated in the hand printing event.

After hand printing they ate ddukbokgi and other items off the menu at the cafe in everysing, such as rice balls and bibimbap, for the opening event.

Many fans came to watch the popular idol groups at this event.

On another note, at "everysing" there is an audition booth where you can audition for SM as well as make your own video, and there is also a cafe, a booth selling character items, and photo sticker booths where you can take pictures with your favorite celebrities (in the background).

I haven't seen the subbed version yet (but I did watch it raw even though I didn't understand anything lol) but these are two really good episodes. The boys go shopping together in episode 4 and we see some of the two team's dance moves, and in episode 5 they take a lulzy trip to the beach.

Big Bang's Electric Love Tour

Big Bang's Japan tour has now been confirmed by YG’s official Japanese site and more details on the dates and locations have been revealed as well. There will be a total of 4 concerts, starting in February 10th.

The following are the dates and locations:

February 10th at Yokohama Arena

February 11th at Yokohama Arena

February 13th at Kobe World Hall

February 16th at Budokan

The performances on February 10th and 16th start at 7:00pm and the ones on February 11th and 13th start at 6:00pm.

The two, on the radio show ShimShimTapa said "we got to love each other." This announcement has captured the attentions from many fans and people all over. During the radio show, the people next to them said they were caring for each other and it felt as if they were actually going out. Jokwon and Ga In were asked if they shared the same feelings during the show and both said "yes." We have a feeling they are really going out so good luck to Jokwon and Ga In!

H.O.T member Jang WooHyuk and Koyote member Kim JongMin, who have been serving their military duties the past 2 years, has been released of their duties officially today!

The 2 had reported for their military services on the same day on 15th November in 2007 and on 18th December, they were also released of their duties together.

Kim JongMin was also welcomed by the whole KBS 2Days1Night gang. Kim JongMin has been one of the prominent celebrities in the variety shows circle with his appearance on various shows like SBS Star King and KBS Champagne.

Brown Eyed Girls had an interview with Monkey3 lately and during the interview they revealed, “We want to groom KARA. If we are the president of our company, we want to scout KARA. We especially like SeungYeon and GyuRi.”

The group also talked about being ‘adult-dol (adult+idol)’ for their fascinating and matured performances, “The strength to this is that the juniors will want to follow our footsteps. But the negative side to that is that as we age each year, our skin loses elasticity and wrinkles grow. But good thing is that the makeup technique these days are good.”

MBLAQ Mir shows some affection for After School UEE.

Mir was on MBC Every1 ‘Idol Season 5′ aired on 16th December when he showed some affection for UEE. MBLAQ had their appearance on variety shows just 2 months into their debut and is doing well at that.

HBIC HYORI'S 4TH ALBUM IS 80% COMPLETE!

Sexy queen Lee Hyori will spend her year-end in the recording studio. She will not be appearing on various year-end programs and will be focusing on preparing for her 4th album.



According to Mnet.com, “All this while, she has been doing various activities like CF filming that she cannot focus on her album works as much. This year-end she will not be appearing on any shows, other than ‘Family Outing’. And she will be working on her new album.”

Hyori previously released her 3rd album ‘It’s Hyorish‘ in July 2008, and her 4th album was set to release October this year but it was pushed back till next year.

A company representative has said, “Because Hyori puts in effort to make every song, the album was late in delivery. Currently, the album is about 80% completed. But the remaining 20%, which is the most important part like title songs and others, will need more attention.”

The new album is set to drop either late Janauary or early February next year.

The representative said, “When we have decided with the title song, we need to prepare the costumes, choreography and concept, there is still much work to cover. And such will need around 1 month, so if fast enough, we will see Hyori’s album released at the end of January.”

Showcasing a different concept and choreography for every album release, much anticipation is in for Lee Hyori’s longawaited new album.
