"Jumujin" has finished filming

On November 15th, the filming of the movie "Jumujin" has been finished at Jumujin, Gangneung city, Kangwon-do.

"Jumujin" is a movie about a talented guitarist who met his love at Jumujin after traveling around. The movie is directed by famous director Ha MyeongJoong and the cast included Super Junior's Kim Kibum, actress Hwang Bora and musical actress Lee Kyungmi.

The movie began filming on September 15th and it took 2 months to finish filming. The movie is planned to be released the first half of next year. (Jan 21st, btw)


Besides, on November 16th's morning at Gangneung's city hall, director Ha MyeongJoong, Kim Kibum, Hwang Bora, Lee Kyungmi who are chosen as ambassador for Gangeung city will receive their appointment letter.

Jaebeom's dance crew, Art of Movement, wins first place at B-boy competition

Another video of Jaebeom dancing at a B-boy competition recently surfaced. The ex-leader of 2PM was seen dancing with his dance crew AOM (Art of Movement) at the Winter Nights competition in Seattle. Well, Nate News is reporting that Jaebeom and his dance crew actually won the event.

In the finals, Jaebeom and AOM faced off against R.M/S.R.C (Rhythmic Motions) (Soul Rebelz). Jaebeom and AOM came out of the battle victorious.

Yang Hyun-Suk, the CEO to one of Korea’s biggest entertainment companies, YG Entertainment gave time to be interviewed for his plans for his artists.

Giving a direct communication to the fans is a rare feat for the company president, but he says that this is an opportunity for him. “I do not get to know many of the people. And I want to personally say the things about my member artists so that the fans might know. I don’t want people to misunderstand my actions or my artists’ actions, especially the fans,” he says.

His love for music and culture is YG’s driving force. And this year, he caught the big fish as his two idol groups, Big Bang and rookie girl group, 2NE1 scored big in the music industry. The two groups, plus G-Dragon’s successful solo debut made Mr. Yang Hyun Suk very busy. So it is very fortunate that he is giving this interview.

Official photos from the inaugural Singapore's Sundown Festival, Seoul'd Out 2009 are out, and I'm loving them to bits.

And I think the photos speak for themselves. Sundown Festival 2009 was a roaring success, so we thank the organizers for bringing the boys here to perform in the festival too ^__^

There will be another Sundown Festival next year June/July.
Pray that the boys can come again? ^__^

Jointed 2NE1 dolls to be on exhibition on Seoul Doll Fair

Jointed dolls modelled out of popular group 2NE1 will be on exhibition at the 2009 Seoul Doll Fair from 24th December in Seoul SamsungDong CoEX.

The dolls took about 4 months to be made, and are about 60cm tall.

Taeyeon speaking out on Strong Heart about that goddamn leader issue shit

On the December 15th episode, Taeyeon talked about how it's so hard to control all 9 people as leader, it's a burden. She also stated that she's a very sensitive person so it's even harder for her to manage. She also talked about an incident.

The incident was where the girls gathered together for a 5 minute talk / meeting. During this talk, everyone looked at her and asked her why she's not talking with the rest of the group lately. They said, "What's up with you?" Which caused Taeyeon to go to her room and start crying. Sooyoung went into Taeyeon's room and wanted to console and talk to her. During this chat, Taeyeon said, "Ok, that's it. SNSD will no longer have a leader." When they shared this information with the rest of the girls, the girls all agreed and said that's fine / cool. They already assumed as if the group were acting without an official leader anyways. Taeyeon then said to the audience, "I thought the girls were going to say... NO! Please still be our leader but they didn't..." After she said that the audience had a big laugh. However, as they continued talking the members eventually said that Taeyeon should still be leader, but it seems she has a heavy burden on her shoulders as leader.

After this, Eun Jin Won aka G-One called her out by saying, "Taeyeon already knows she's still going to be leader, nothings going to change."

Now that I have seen the MV, I think that they were copying many other kpop bands (BEG & 2NE1 for the outfits and a bit of 4minute's Candy funk concept, the digital background thing which was 2NE1's and I believe the tied up scene in 1:13+ is a copy of BEG's Abracadabra MV and the 4 of them riding on those bikes is so CL)

Preview BEAST’s Crazy for Attack The Gas Station 2

So BEAST! The popular boy group BEAST recently uploaded a video on the web. The video is a preview of an upcoming track titled Crazy, which will be included in the Attack The Gas Station 2 soundtrack (OST).

Just in time for the Holidays, old school g.o.d. member Kim Tae Woo has released a new single titled Love Snow. Both the single and MV for Love Snow was released earlier today and it sounds great. In the song, he incorporates a full choir and a rapper named 슬라임,드로플렛 Slime Droplet.

Most recently, Kim Tae Woo did a beautiful track for the IRIS OST titled Dreaming a Dream. Kim Tae Woo keeps on putting out high quality stuff. Check out the MV below, the song gets you in a nice festive Holiday spirit.

Late news is late: New project band for melon awards tonight.

It was known that 2PM's Nickhun, SJ's Sungmin & Eunhyuk, IRIS's Juni, The TRAX's Jungmo, rapper Outsider and BooHwal's Kim Taewon will form a project band called "DG band". The band will perform the opening stage at 1st Melon music award which will be held place on December 16th at Olympic hall, Seoul Olympic Park.

IRIS's Juni and Sungmin will be the main vocals of the band. Nickhun will be in charge of playing keyboard and vocal. Eunhyuk & Outsider will be in chagre of rapping and Jungmo & Kim Taewon will be in charge of playing guitar.

"DG band" will perform <200 Pounds Beauty>'s OST as opening stage for Melon music award. "2009 Melon music award" will be aired live from 7PM to 10PM on December 16th via Y-STAR, Dramax, ComedyTV.

Seo Taiji's live album arrives just before Santa

Seo Taiji’s live album is set to hit stores on Christmas Eve. The Seotaiji Company announced today it will release the live two-disc album of “the Great Seo Taiji Symphony,” a July 2008 concert the former member of Seo Taiji and the Boys held with Tolga Kashif and Britain's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

The concert, featuring a crossover between rock and classical music, was Seo’s first public performance in four years and drew 35,000 fans.

The two-disc set comes with a 50 page booklet and a poster.

“I was happy to work on something different. It was also nice to share the special experience with many people. ‘Seo Taiji Symphony’ was a special experience that stands out among many concerts that I’ve over my career,” Seo said in a statement.

This entry by Tomo opens the speculation that DSP gave up on the group and perhaps didn't promote them as much as they could due to the reason that they thought they wouldn't succeed. We can also speculate that he has signed with another company. This is a gutsy move to put a entertainment company on a public blast, so if hes the smart type, we're guessing he has a strong backing.

We hope Tomo the best and hope to see him back in the near future, 1234 back~

Big Bang gears up for Big Show next month

Korean idol group Big Bang is set to give a concert next month, performing as a group for the first time in a year, according to their agency YG Entertainment.

The "2010 Big Bang Concert Big Show" will be held over three days, from January 29 thru 31, at Seoul's Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium.

The five members have been busy pursuing their individual careers this year; G-Dragon released his solo debut album "Heartbreaker", Seungri released his single "Strong Baby" and did musicals, Taeyang also made a solo debut with singles "Where U At" and "Wedding Dress", T.O.P. played a supporting role in the blockbuster drama "Iris" and Daesung appeared in the popular variety show "Family Outing".

It has been known that make-believe couple Jo Kwon and GaIn of MBC ‘We Got Married’ will be doing a duet song.

The 2 of them have completed the recording to the song in recording studio in Seoul on 8th December. According to a staff on 16th December, “They were thinking of doing something good for the year end, and came up with the idea of doing the song and donating all proceeds from the song.”

Also on that same day, the 2 had their first stage on MBC Radio ‘ShinDong Kim ShiYoung’s ShimShimTaPa’ and revealed the song.

The song is composed by Lee MinSoo (who did ‘Abracadabra’) and Brown Eyed Girls JeA. The lyrics are written by Jo Kwon, GaIn and Kim EeNa.
