"We ourselves also know the fact that our weakness is although we're famous, we didnt have any representative song. But this year "Sorry sorry" has become our hit song, after receiving the daesang award at Golden disk, it seems that all our complex have gone away. When we were young and dreamed to be singer, our dreaming stage is always here at Golden disk, now we got the best place in this stage/place, we couldnt believe it"

"This year although we're very happy with but at the same time there are many bad incidents. Just before this, I had a phone call with Kangin. Girlgroup members have picked 2PM TaecYeon as the #1 male idol.

On Star Golden Bell filmed on 7th December, various girlgroup members have appeared on the show like Davichi Kang MinKyung, 4Minute HyunA, After School JooYeon, SeeYa BoRam SooMi and Secret Jeon HyoSeong.
And MC Jeon HyunMoo asked Kang MinKyung, “Which male idol do you get most nervous when you see him” and she answered 2PM TaecYeon.

She explained, “When he rips off his clothes at the end of the song ‘Heartbeat’, I thought ‘So you can really get excited seeing a guy’s body’.” 4Minute HyunA said, “BEAST Lee GiGwang also ripped off his clothes like TaecYeon but I thought ‘What? Why take it off’ and gave a cold response.”

HyunA then said to Kang MinKyung, “Unnie you like chest abs?”. And then After School JooYeon said, “HyunA is still young so she doesn’t know. I also think that TaecYeon looks really cool when he takes off his top.”

The show will air on 12th December.

Restarting nuclear talks was special envoy’s goal

SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea said today that it understands the need to resume the stalled international talks on ending its nuclear programs, and that it agrees to work with the United States to narrow unspecified “remaining differences.”

The statement from North Korea’s Foreign Ministry was the first reaction from the communist nation to three days of high-level talks with President Barack Obama’s special envoy. Upon returning from North Korea on Thursday, envoy Stephen Bosworth made similar remarks in Seoul that the two sides reached common understandings on the need to restart the nuclear talks.

Seo In Young and Park Jung Ah, the only two original members left in the 4 member group Jewelry, have decided that it was their time to leave the group.

Representatives from Star Empire Entertainment, Jewelry's entertainment label, have stated that after the promotions of Jewelry's repackaged 6th album "Love Story" are over, Seo In Young and Park Jung Ah will leave the group.

Park Jung Ah commented:

"We have performed as Jewelry for almost 10 years and a lot has happened since that time. I am most proud of the fact that we made Jewelry into an icon. Although we are finishing, Jewelry is not and I will actively support the new Jewelry."



Each of the women have decided to continue with their solo careers, which is probably a good choice considering the lack of a comeback Jewelry had and the fact that Seo In Young is doing great without the group with her digital single "Can't I Love."

The search for new members for Jewelry will begin with the new year.

Star Empire has been on the fritz lately with it's lack of a budget plan for Child of Empire, V.O.S leaving the company and the arguable failed comeback from Jewelry. Just last year, "One More Time" dominated the charts which is far from what "Vari2ty" did. To go from the top of your game and comeback as the group that went by unnoticed has got to be hard.

Best wishes to Star Empire in the future and hopefully the new Jewelry will be as or more successful (and hopefully hotter) next time around.

Koyote Bbaek Ga diagnosed with brain cancer, member ShinJi’s message before surgery

Ahead of his surgery after being diagnosed with brain cancer, Koyote member Bbaek Ga gets an encouraging message from fellow member ShinJi.

ShinJi wrote on her minihompy on 10th December, “Just now your voice, that voice which sounds like it wasn’t a big deal, that you will worry about me before yourself, the unusually calm and tough voice. I’m really heartbroken and tired. It hurts me that I’m like no one to you, if you are not feeling well why do you keep that as a secret from just me, why? You said you are fine, and you promised that you will be fine. That voice of yours just now during our conversation rips my heart.”


She continued, “You are the one I share the hardship with the most in the world. You are also the one who treasure me and protect me the most, I believe in you. The kind one who is probably really in pain and tired, and still thinks about me before yourself…”

Meanwhile, Bbaek Ga was diagnosed of brain cancer on 9th December. He is currently serving his military service.

U-KISS reveals who they like!

On the 9th, U-KISS who has gained a lot of fame through their latest single "Man Man Ha Ni" held their 500th days since debut celebration as well as Kibum's birthday party with fans through GOM TV's Fanmeeting Program 'Only 4 You'.

On that day, U-KISS members and the fans played an OX Quiz called "I Like You" to find out whether there is female idol that they like. 5 out of 7 members responded with an "O".

Especially Dongho, who smiled shyly and revealed "IU nuna, I like you. You sing very well, so cute and lively."

The other 4 members who raised an "O" are Kevin who revealed that he likes 2NE1’s Sandara Park, Kibum’s f(x) Sulli, Eli’s Rainbow’s Jaekyung, Soohyun’s f(x) Victoria. Soohyun added "Victoria’s nostril is very beautiful" which created a huge laughter at the fan meeting.

The event was held to celebrate U-KISS’s 500th day as well as Kibum's birthday. A cake was brought out and tears were coming out from their eyes as they were reminiscing through the past 500 days.

Super Junior and SNSD ‘cheers using soft drink’ at a Barbeque place

At the 2009 Golden Disk Award , Super Junior and SNSD who won the Daesang for both disk and digital award went together to a BBQ restaurant located around the Jiangnan District for an after party celebration on 10th December.

After winning the Daesang, both the brother-sister group who hugged one another and cried had gather together in a BBQ restaurant at around 11:30PM. They all removed their make up and turned up with a comfortable normal make up and clothes, *the expression on their face can’t cover their excited feeling.

Normally after winning a big award, there is always wine and have a alcohol party. But, because there are some member who are underage, and have a lot of schedule, so instead of using wine , they replaced it with soft drink and cheers !

Due to the schedule of SSII concert in Nanjing, Super Junior can’t drink too much ( wine ). However, Super Junior member Leeteuk, Heechul and some other members added some Soju into their soft drinks and even act a cross-cupped wine scene. Both group together with company staff in total 50 people had reserved the whole 2nd storey of the BBQ place. In a blink of eye, 80 portion of Streaky pork had finished. Just the meal fee alone already cost them about **$1,300

Although past midnight it started to drizzle, the weather also became cool, but on the entry of the BBQ place, there are still over 100 fans who stay till 3AM keep cheering for SJ and SNSD name.

Some of the SuperJunior members even shook hand with the fans. During the party, there is also SM representative Kim Young Min and TVXQ member Yunho who joined them and congratulate them.

South Korean actor Lee Byung-hun, who made a successful Hollywood debut this year with "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," is facing a legal battle with his ex-girlfriend, who is claiming mental suffering from the actor's false promise of marriage.

The Canadian-Korean rhythmic gymnast, identified by her family name Kwon, filed criminal charges over Lee's alleged habitual gambling with the Seoul Central District Court Thursday, a day after she legally accused him of having caused her mental distress.

Gambling is prohibited by law in South Korea unless conducted in authorized places.

Kwon, who claims to have met Lee in Canada last year and dated him until this spring, is seeking 100 million won (US$87,000) in compensation for the alleged physical and mental suffering caused by Lee.

Actor Lee, who is currently starring in the KBS big-budget TV series "Iris," has admitted to having a relationship with the woman, but denied her accusations.

Lee said he will go to court to defend himself from the lawsuit and has asked prosecutors to investigate Kwon's false accusations, according to his agent BH Entertainment.

"I have never done anything I should be ashamed of as a public figure," the actor said in a press release. "I will fight these vicious accusations through the law."

Earlier Wednesday, the actor claimed that anonymous men contacted him earlier this year, threatening to expose his relationship with Kwon unless he paid them 2 billion won.

Brown Eyed Girls ’saucy’ hip dance for hit song ‘Abracadabra’ has been chosen as the ‘dance of the year’ by netizens.

Movie specialty magazine ‘Cine21′ conducted an online poll from 1st through 10th December and 57.5% of the netizens who voted chosen the saucy hip dance as the best dance trend of 2009.

Not only was the dance followed by many fans, many celebrities were also seen doing the dance parodies on shows like UEE, Lee Hyori, Im YeJin, Choi MyungGil, Kim JungEun, and also male stars like 2AM members, Infinite Challenge members like JunJin, Jung JoonHa and even Jang Hyuk.

Producer singer Park Jin Young (37) talks about the WonderGirls members going into adolescence period.

He was on MBC FM4U ‘Kim BumSoo’s Dream Radio’ on 11th December when he said, “Like how people would normally not play (have fun) with their parents as much after they enters adolescence, it is the same case for the WonderGirls, we don’t play around as much anymore.”

Also on the show, Park Jin Young sent out text messages to the singers under him the message ‘Who am I to you?’. And 2AM Jo Kwon answered ‘An existence close to god’, Kim TaeWoo replied ‘The father of my life’, Son HoYoung replied ‘My ideal type’. 2PM Nich Khun also gave a cute answer ‘The teacher who likes the rice cake I bought’.

Epik High Tablo expressed his sadness for friend Koyote Bbaek Ga who has recently been diagnosed of brain tumour.

He wrote on MapTheSoul.com on 11th December a post titled ‘Pray’. In the post he wrote, “A precious friend of mine is sick. Let’s all pray for him together.”

The friend whom Tablo was referring to was none other than Bbaek Ga. Bbaek Ga was recently involved in a minor car accident. After the accident, he had complained of headaches, and was sent to Seoul University Hospital for brain examinations where he was diagnosed of brain tumour. He has been scheduled for an operation.

He recently entered the military for his service in October.

JYP (Park Jin Young) revealed on SBS Power FM's Park So Hyun's Love Game radio show that he wishes to quit producing and only sing by summer time next year.

On the radio broadcast he said:

[Narsha/Je-a] Actually our first intention was not just R&B & hip-hop. We wanna try a wide variety of music as possible to show to our fans.

We got to know that there are so many fans in Singapore, and instead of doing something new, we are thinking of bringing what we do in Korea. Even the outfits, we bring the one we wore in Korea.

Qn 3. Since the 4 of you are such pretty ladies, what is the craziest act a male fan has done to you girls?

Well, all fans are special, and the fact that we are girl band, we’ll meet male fans especially in military events, and boys universities. They’re so passionate. Whatever we do, they love us.

I play the role of a sassy girl in the show and he really nags alot. We are good friends in real life.
