SHINee arrives and performs in Manila minus a member

More than two weeks ago we reported that boy group SHINee was heading to the Philippines to participate in the Korean Cultural Festival.

On November 26th, while most Americans were celebrating thanksgiving, some fan girls in the Philippines were thankful to get a glimpse of their favorite stars at the Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport. SHINee arrived in the late evening but that didn't deter the fangirls to patiently wait for SHINee as they arrived. Unfortunately young Taemin couldn't join them as he's back in Korea getting treatment and recovering from swine flu.

Even without Taemin, the fans enjoyed a great concert performance. Hopefully, Taemin can recover soon and can join the rest of SHINee in their activities soon, thanks to nej_tvfxq for the tip. Visit SFI for more on SHINee.

Minho's new ideal girl is...not a surprise.

So our Romeo Minho seems to have more than one Juliet.

It hasn't been that long since SHINee's Minho broke fangirls' hearts by going on a date with his ideal girl, Kara's Goo Hara, on an episode of Invincible Youth.

But on a recent popularity poll taken during an episode, Minho had chosen SNSD's Yuri as his ideal girl.

At first, he had unexpectably chosen BEG's Narsha over Goo Hara, but at the last round, he had chosen Yuri over Narsha.

In the final round, Yuri had performed SNSD's hit song, 'Gee,' while Narsha performed a hip-hop version of 'Fly Superboard.' Following the performances, Yuri also shared a couple dance with Minho, which Narsha ended up disturbing.

At one point, the two girls fought over Minho so bad, he commented, "I wish I can start all over again."

Minho sure has a quick change of heart, because it wasn't so long ago when he went on the date with his then "ideal" girl, Goo Hara.

But regardless of who his ideal girl is, Minho had Kim Tae Woo stating, "I'm going to leave this place." I smell a little jealousy here, because we all know that Yuri is Kim Tae Woo's girl. Riiiight?

HyunJoong says, “No Dukbokki for me after BOF”

Kim HyunJoong reveals that he had been swept by his wealth from Boys Over Flowers after the filming. It involves a simple Korean food called dukbokki (spicy rice cake).

On ‘Happy Together,’ Kim HyunJoong revealed a simple, funny episode from his ‘Boys Over Flower’ days. According to the producers of the show ‘Happy Together,’ Kim HyunJoong stated that he faced the aftermath of the drama, ‘Boys Over Flowers.’

In ‘Boys Over Flowers,’ Kim HyunJoong played the role of Yoon JiHoo, who was the grandson of the President stated, “During the filming I rode good cars and ate good food, but after the drama ended, I couldn’t go to the Dukbokki house I used to go often, and it was hard getting back to the ordinary lifestyle.”

However he added on, “But when my wallet started to become thinner, I was able to come back to my original and usual ways,” causing laughter from the other casts and audience. Also, in the filiming, when the MCs asked about any other offers to star in an another drama, he stated, “I have been getting many offers through the drama or a movie.” In addition he said, “I want to have a stupid person role or an assassin’s role,” showing his interests in the acting industry.

A child b-boy by the name of Jalen, whom the Korean media has dubbed 'mini Jaebeom' was a guest star on the November 28th episode of Star King.

Like Jaebeom, he's also from Seattle, Washington and stated that Jay is legendary in the Seattle area. Jalen mentioned that he also made an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show before.

f(x) Sulli, Amber and Krystal have recovered from swine flu

Known to have been confirmed of swine flu on 23rd November, f(x) members Sulli, Amber and Krystal have fully recovered from the flu.

According to SM Entertainment on 28th November, “Amber, Sulli and Krystal have received that medical examination report today saying that they have fully recovered. They will resume promotions on 30th November.”

After knowing that they are done with the flu, Amber and Sulli stayed at their dormitory while Krystal went back to home to rest. The other members – Victoria stayed with another SM girlgroup at their dormitory while Luna went back home to rest during this period. On 28th November, the members will all return to their own dormitory.

SHINee's Taemin - A Face Smaller than Females.

Taemin who is loved by all the noonas with his V-Line face and bright eyes has managed to prove that he has a small face through "Idol Maknae Rebellion".

In the upcoming episode of "Idol Maknae Rebellion" to be aired on SBS E!TV on tn 28th at 10PM, SHINee(Jonghyun, Key, Taemin) was part of the recording of this special episode.

On this day of airing, Idol Maknae Team's YoonHwa (T-MAX) and SHINee's Taemin challenged each other to a battle of face size, and the result was that Taemin, with a face circumference of 60.2CM, has a face smaller by 2CM compared to YoonHwa, as emerging victorious.

YoonHwa said "Compared to the face of a female, I really didn't know Taemin's face is even smaller." Thus expressing his regret in losing in the challenge.

Other than this, SHINee's maknae Taemin and Idol Maknae Rebellion Team's makane Dongho engaged in the challenge of "Ranking through being searched online", sparking off a battle of pride between idols.

Netizens want to see drama couple Park ShinHye and Jang GeunSeok date in real life!

Netizens have chosen Jang Geun Seok and Park Shin Hye, cast of recent drama ‘You’re Beautiful’ as the drama couples they want to see date in real life.

According to a staff of community site DCInside recently, a survey was done from 17th till 24th November asking netizens to choose the drama couples they wish to see date each other in real life. And 5,579 netizens participated in the poll.

The results showed Jang GeunSeok-Park ShinHye at #1, and at #3 is another couple from drama ‘You’re Beautiful’ which is Jung YoungHwa-Park ShinHye.

At #2 is Lee MinJung-Jung KyungHo of SBS drama ‘Smile, You’.

Man Fined for Slandering Indian

A Korean man was fined 1 million won ($855) Friday for insulting an Indian professor. This is the first time in Korea that a person has been punished for racist remarks.

The Incheon District Court fined the 31-year-old man, identified as Park, for humiliating the foreigner through abusive and racial language on a bus in July.

After the incident, the 28-year-old Indian professor Bonojit Hussain accused Park of calling him ``dirty'' and ``smelly.'' Initially, police allegedly discouraged Hussain from filing a complaint but he persisted. Human rights groups also launched a fact-finding team to investigate the case.

Police filed a personal insult charge against Park as there is no appropriate clause in Korea's Criminal Law against this kind of an offense.

According to Hussain, Park even insulted his Korean female friend, who was traveling with him on the bus asking whether she is happy to date a black man.

Following the incident, civic activists formed an anti-racism committee and asked the human rights watchdog agency to look into the case.

Some lawmakers have been pushing for a bill to ban discriminatory practices against foreigners based on either color or nationality.

The case has raised awareness of racial issues in the country where 1.2 million foreigners reside.
