Premiere to Be Held for So Ji-seop's First Japanese TV Drama

A large-scale premiere will be held for a Japanese TV drama in which actor So Ji-seop plays a leading role.

Entitled "I Am Ghost," the drama will first be aired on October 20 by the mobile broadcaster BeeTV. On October 13, a "premium event" will be held for the drama at the Tokyo International Forum Hall It will be attended by So Ji-seop, actress Mitsuki Tanimura, the director and writers.

"I Am Ghost" is the first action TV drama to be produced since BeeTV's founding. It consists of 24 five-minute episodes. It is a sad love story about the assassin Ghost (So Ji-seop), who came from abroad, and a heartbroken student (Matsuki Tanimura).

SM Conflicts, DBSK: The Last China Concert in November

With the ongoing dispute of exclusive contract issue, yet group TVXQ will once again hold their concert in China in November.

After completing the concert in Shanghai, China on October 2nd, TVXQ is heading to Guangdong province, Shenzhen to hold “TVXQ 3rd Asia Tour – MIROTIC in Shenzhen” in Shenzhen Stadium on November 21st. The ticket site has already sold tickets starting on the 5th at http://live.damai.cn/sz/ticket_12870.html, and receives advanced sales.

However, about the accomplishment of this concert is still being problem. This is because since last July, three TVXQ members including Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu applied provisional disposition to terminate the exclusive contract effect against SM which has been creating conflicts. Currently both side are waiting for the court’s decision.

Even if the court agrees and wins the three members’s provisional disposition application of exclusive contract effects, still the whole five members are expected to attend the concert. The reason is that both sides even with the legal conflict is still running, had possessed a strong determination, “TVXQ concert that is promised to the fans will be proceed as planned.”

In fact, other than the ‘SM Town Live 09′ concert that was scheduled for August 16th, TVXQ has performed every single official overseas activity that they had planned. This was to lessen the shock the fans would have felt. LMFAOOOOOOO WAT

On the 5th SM official officer stated, “Unless there’s a big incident, the schedule of TVXQ in the future will be executed as planned.”

However, to see it in different way, there’s an incident involving the recent released picture of skinny Changmin that has been spread rapidly in internet which is rising many comments such as “Isn’t it because the schedule of them is too heavy to be followed!” and “With all the concert schedules, they’re definitely not having any rest soon, and we’re concerned about the members’ health.”

MC Yoo Jae Suk has been voted as the #1 star Koreans would most like to accompany going to their home with.

On the 2nd on KBS 2TV's Chuseok special 'Big Star X File', different rankings of stars were shown through a survey that was performed.

Yoo Jae Suk remained the #1 spot and had no change in position. Though he got married, his popularity is still soaring.

The #2 spot belonged the cute and sexy SNSD. In 3rd place was the noonas' heartthrob, Lee Seung Gi. #4 was 2PM, and #5 was sexy singer Lee Hyori.

Also, the #1 female star they'd like to introduce their parents to was trot queen Jang Yoon Jung, Han Hyo Joo, and Kim Tae Hee thanks to their beauty and intelligence. The male stars, Lee Seung Gi, So Ji Sub, and Jang Dong Gun took the #1 spot as the mascots of Korea's handsome men.

But there were also #1 spots of shame. Jung Hyung Don took the #1 spot as the male star who wouldn't work on Chuseok and goof around all day, and Park Hee Soon took the #1 position as the person most likely to spend their Chuseok at home alone.

The pop star gave a bow and said goodbye to the tearful fans, according to the Korea Times newspaper.

When he landed back home in the United States, no local news crews were on hand.

Park, who is in his 20s, has apparently returned to his parents' home in Edmonds. The Korean-American is keeping a low profile after controversial remarks forced him from 2PM, a boy band that made him a star overseas.

The Internet has battered Park's reputation and served as a gathering place for fans, who have signed petitions and hired a private plane to fly over Edmonds with a banner, asking “J. What Time Is It Now?” — a reference to one of the group's hits.

Jaeboem: I got fed up with Chansung. I refrigerated dried mangoes after I had come Back from the states. Not too long, they disappeared, only the package was left in his bed. He took them from me without saying a word.

Chansung: I was hungry then(Laugh)... JunSu was such a nuisance. Going aboard, he lost his phone so he used mine. I was charged 160,000 won for long-distance call.

Junsu: I did not talk that long. I missed my mum so much that I felt an urge to call her. I am sicked of Taecyeon. We live in the same room but the room is so untidy and dirty. In summer, Teac' shirts will be piled up days by days until they bacome smelly and maggots crawl over them. Once, I had a nightmare that I was bitten by maggots. It was such trauma that I had to post it on Cesco(a insecticide company) Webboard.

Teacyeon: That is exaggerated and I have done it only once. I left my 20 pieces of cloth unwashed and it just stinked! A man have done it. Junho is a bore too. Whenever we do not have any schedules, we will visit our family of friends but Junho will take a shower for 2 hours and be late for an appointment once or twice.

Junho: Is it too long? I wash my hair, do hair treatment, squeeze my pimples, massage my muscles, take a bath and rehearse songs in just 2 hours! It does not last long since I am important person. (Laugh) I am bored of Wooyoung. These days he looks alike a chicken. I want to eat something else but he orders only foods with chicken....so he will become a chicken himself someday.

Wooyoung: I have never forced you to eat. I like chickens so I order them. There are other members who fond of them more than me and Chickens are good for people who exercise often. I am fed up with Nichkhun Hyung since I have tried to lighten the mood in variety shows by ssanti and acorbatic dances. Khun hyung just winked, then what I have done is nothing! I had his work done by a wink!

Nichkhun: In fact, I am tired because I have winked too much. I have got lots of wrinkle so I have to buy an expensive eyecream. I did not intent to wink but Fans like it so...I did. Juhso is annoying since he like to sing while taking a shower and my room is juxtaposed with the bathroom. I cannot sleep because of his off-pitched singing. I got fed up with Jaebeom Hyung too, I asked him to teach me B-boy but ha said no. I feel bad.

Jaebeom: Not that I would not like teach you but you did not ask nicely.

B2ST reveals new jacket photo, Jang HyunSeung talks about the pains of being eliminated by Big Bang

Ahead of his debut as part of group B2ST, Jang HyunSeung who was eliminated from group Big Bang, talked about the hard times he went through all this while.

B2ST is set to debut mid-October, and Jang HyunSeung revealed through their documentary MTV ‘B2ST’ about the pain of being eliminated from Big Bang.

He said, “When I was eliminated (from Big Bang), it was really a hard time for me. When I’m alone, I feel really lonely. But to me, those were the times which gave me the motivation to live life eagerly. They became very precious memories to me.”


He also added, “If not for then, there will not be me now. I had memories with Big Bang, but when people say that ‘Now you are like enemies’, it came to me as frustrating.”

Meanwhile, B2ST will include AJ Lee GiGwang, Yoon DooJoon from ‘Hot Blood’ amongst other members.

A new jacket photo was also revealed on 6th October by Cube Entertainment.

On October 5, nine days before the highly anticipated drama "IRIS" is scheduled to air on KBS, a press conference was held featuring the main cast and producer of IRIS at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul, Korea.

IRIS is said to have a big budget of around $22,000,000 (US) and filmed many scenes in Japan and Hungary. With tops stars such as Lee Byung Hun, T.O.P. of Big Bang, Kim Tae Hee, Jung Jun Ho, Kim So Yeon, and Kim Seung Woo this drama is sure to be a big hit.

Group Big Bang member TOP has denied being compared in terms of acting with Dong Bang Shin Ki member Jung YunHo.

TOP was present at the press conference for upcoming KBS drama ‘IRIS’ on 5th October in Seoul Lotte Hotel, when he was asked the question of how he felt about the competition with Jung YunHo who is also having his acting debut in ‘Heading To The Ground’ at the same time period. His answer was, “I never thought of it that way.”

He said, “I started acting 2 years back with ‘I Am Sam’ without much thinking. Back then I was really very scared. But now I have a certain level of interests for acting, and I even have the greed to do better. Because acting has now become more of a responsibility to me, I don’t think about the burden of competition with other idol group members.”

And when asked if he had to do any special preparations for his role as a killer, he said, “I do not have much acting experiences unlike the other seonbae actors, because of that I do whatever I can and have to. I did a lot of shotting practice at the ball firing practice courts.”

He also added about his experience working with the other seonbae actors, “They treated me very well like a real dongsaeng (younger sibling) and I get the feeling of the maknae (youngest) in a family.”

Won Bin is an ajusshi for his next film role

With his successful comeback film (the thriller Mother) still fresh in our minds, the actor has announced his next project: a movie called Ajusshi [아.저.씨], which is the term adult men start being called as they hit their thirties and beyond (although the typical connotation of an ajusshi tends to be the conventional middle-aged man).

He plays a “lonely man who lives as though he’s cut off from the world,” having willingly rejected society. As he meets with a unique woman who opens his heart, the character promises to show a “deep, internal” style to Won Bin’s acting. His co-star has not yet been cast.

Won Bin is still promoting Mother abroad, and will travel to Japan mid-month in time for its premiere there. Ajusshi will enter filming at the end of this year and will aim for a summer 2010 release.

G-Dragon, 2NE1, and After School for a Mini Concert

G-Dragon, 2NE1, and After School will join together for a mini-concert at Lotte World, one of Korea's most popular amusement parks.

On October 16th, the event will start at 11:30PM and lead to 4:30AM. The event is celebrating the establishment and 10th anniversary of Lotte Cinema and is called "Birth Night Party."

At 2:00AM, the concerts will start. The order of the concert is After School, 2NE1, and then G-Dragon.

Before the concert will be a talk show with Byun Ki Su. The guests will be Kang Jihwan, Kim Hanuel, Shin Tae Rah, Jang Hyuk, and Sung Yuri. Those actors are from the 2009 hit movie, 7th Grade Civil Servant and an upcoming movie, Rabbit and Lizard.

Actress Lee Si Young revealed she had starved for three days for her hectic filming of her SBS drama, Loving You a Thousand Times. She even took some selcas of her starved self on set and posted them online.

Furthermore, the actress had also undergone a great transformation, looking very tired and worn out.

In these pictures, she re-defines the meaning of dark circles. Celebrities always complain about having bags under their eyes, but you can never see them that clearly under all that makeup. But with Lee Si Young, it's a different story, as they intensely outline the bottom part of her eyes.

On October 6th, the first episode of the new variety talk show ‘Strong Heart’ aired with the great MCs and the extraordinary group of guests. Past shocking stories were shared and the biggest highlight of the show was the great escape plan formed by the greatest hit idol group, Big Bang.

When GDragon was chosen next as Kang HoDong’s secret weapon on the new variety talk show ‘Strong Heart,’ all the fans knew that they were in for a surprise. GDragon started out in his talk by talking about the “slump” the members had been going through then, and the hard times that came to them along with the working and popularity. During the time of the Hite commercial (the one that SeungRi wasn’t allowed into), the four members from Big Bang gathered and had a secret meeting to run away and have fun all by themselves. They had even planned everything out with DaeSung driving and taking the car while GDragon, TaeYang, and TOP would take of the guards and everything else. The plan was all set and with the end of the CF filming, GDragon contacted SeungRi as well. However, on that day they were set to leave, YG calls GDragon and starts to talk about the misunderstanding and calls him for a meeting and in the end, they were able to get a two month break, which made the plans unneccessary. But here is the catch.

“So we [TaeYang, GD, DaeSung, TOP] concluded if SeungRi had been the one to tell YG.” – GDragon.

Conspiracy between the fan clubs?

Remember last year's Dream Concert when the combined forces of TVXQ, SS501 and Super Junior fan-clubs (Cassiopeia, Triple S and E.L.F.) decided to give SNSD the silent treatment while they were performing? It looks like some people tried to stir the pot up once again and told others to do the same this year - but ended up making their own favorite artist(s) look pretty bad.

Yiseul is a manager of a small (around 5,000 members) Naver cafe dedicated to SHINee. On October 3rd, Yiseul decided to write a notice on the cafe that read as follows:
