SM gives explanation for not submitting evidences

SME "Regarding The Evidence That Was To Be Submitted, We Were Only Waiting For Answer From The Courts"

SM Entertainment, the agency that is currently in a dispute with three members of TVXQ, Xiah Junsu, Micky Yoochun and YoungWoong Jaejoong, released a statement on the 31st regarding the agency's decision not to submit any documents for the trial stating that, "We were only waiting for an answer from the Courts."

As soon as the Preservation of Evidence request was accepted, SM Entertainment told the Courts that, "The range of documents requested is too broad and the time to gather them too short," and also requested to the Courts that, "If the Courts narrow the range down to one section or part, we will submit those documents."

A representative of SME stated that, "The reason we haven't submitted any documents relevant to the case yet is because we did not receive an answer from the Courts saying what particular kind of documents we should submit. It is not because we fear that company secrets may be revealed."

The Courts will be receiving documents relevant to this case until they reach a decision next month.

SK Model and Actress Jang Jin Young loses battle against stomach cancer.

South Korean actress and model, Jang Jin-Young, dies on September 1st, 2009 after a one year battle with stomach cancer. The 35 year old died at 4:00 p.m KST in St. Mary's Hospital located in Seoul (Seoul National University) - her parents, sister and boyfriend were all present at the time of her death.

The former Miss Korea 1993 was diagnosed with stomach cancer on 22 September 2008, during a regular health check. She had been suffering from pains while eating, but had believed the cause to be a stomach ulcer. In a telephone interview aired on MBC's After News programme on 29 November 2008, Jang stated that she had been undergoing both Western medical treatments and traditional herbal remedies, and that her health was improving.

It had been reported earlier that Jang Jin Young had been re-admitted to the hospital and treatment for her cancer cells had been stopped because of her declining health. She was only being given painkillers in her final moments.

WonderGirls to end concert tour with the Jonas Brothers

Group WonderGirls, who are currently promoting in America, will be ending their concert tour with the Jonas Brothers.

It will be their last time doing the opening act for the Jonas Brothers’ concert on 31st August in Canada Ottawa Scotia Bank.

The girls have been following the Jonas Brothers for their concert tour since 27th June, moving from state to state starting from Portland on 51 concert performances in front of about 1.5 million fans. Initially it was set for the girls to perform only on 13 concert performances, but after 4 concert performances, the girls were offered to perform with the Jonas Brothers until 31st August.

Meanwhile, the girls will be having a fansign and public performance event on 6th September.

Through the girls’ MTV show ‘4Minute’, JiYoon reveals her faces taking off her sunglasses. They were filming for their new album jacket and JiYoon took off her glasses and this is the first time we see her do that.

JiYoon said, “I’m ’sunglasses’ JiYoon’. Now without the sunglasses, it is so bright for my eyes. I’m not used to it.” and joked “I don’t know why I have to take the boyish image. I’m actually very feminine. Don’t I do knitting at home?”

SJ's new KBS show "Super Junior's miracle" to bring message of hope to teens (LT, SM, KI, EH, SD)

Beginning from 8.00PM, September 5th, Super Junior along with MC Park Kyunglim and singer Lee Sooyoung will be MCs for a new show of KBS Drama channel called "Human network - Super Junior's miracle". The show's purpose is to bring the hope message to the teenagers who are in difficult situation but still try their best to achieve their dreams.

"Super Junior's miracle" when hear about a case of a teenager who has talent but his/her family is in a difficult status, they will help her/him by finding a expert in that field to be a mentor of them. Within an amount of time, they will have to find a mentor and convince them to help the teenager.

Super Junior said "We attend (this show) to be able to return the love that we receive from fans up to now", they even didnt mind the hot weather to film the show, also they always smile to bring a comfortable atmosphere and show that they all are enthused person.

Producer of "Super Junior's miracle" said "Culture art, Sport, Science....we give the teenagers of all social standings who have dreams a chance to have a mentoring" and revealed the idea of project "I make the national family".

"Human network - Super Junior's miracle" the show will bring warm feeling and happiness to the families will air the 1st epsidoe on September 5th and every Saturday at 8.00PM through KBS drama channel.

For Singapore Hottest fans who were disappointed that the petition and project to bring 2PM back to Singapore again after last year’s Kpop Night did not work out, here’s a piece of good news.

Park Jin Young has responded on Twitter that he will bring 2PM to Singapore again. Though we don’t know when, at least there is hope to see the boys here again!

Big Bang GDragon to late Jang JinYoung, “I wish her a good afterlife”

Big Bang leader GDragon has expressed his grief for the late actress Jang JinYoung.

GDragon wrote on his Me2Day account on 1st September, “I knew the news too late. I wish good afterlife for the deceased. Let’s take some take to do prayer.”

Known to have been fighting against stomach cancer, news of Jang JinYoung’s passing on 1st September has shocked many in the entertainment zone and fans. Even though GDragon was not close to Jang JinYoung, he paid respect to her as a junior in the entertainment zone.

Meanwhile, GDragon also wrote on his me2day, “I’m working hard and filming for a MV now. If you wait for a while more, you can see it too. I will work hard.”

Meanwhile, GDragon is promoting the title song ‘Heartbreaker’ off his 1st solo album.

Lee Hyori is coming back in October to the music stage with her 4th album.

Mnet Media, Manager Lee stated “Lee Hyori has set her new album for October as her goal, she is preparing it diligently. The songs that will be included in the album are all out, but because of the recent CF filming, the recording work has been slowed down, once they are all done she will start to record again. Lee Hyori’s 4th album is going to break the audience’s stereotypes”.


Manager Lee is cautious with his words when talking about Lee Hyori’s new album’s concept and music style.

“For now it’s difficult to say, they are overall working on it. The staff who worked on the 3rd album is also participating in this one, at the same time giving an opportunity to rookies with true abilities. Everybody consider themselves able to assist Lee Hyori’s change.”

Lee Hyori for her 4th album is doing thousand of preparations, like when she was preparing her 3rd album, she would discuss of every details of the album with the producer. This time for the 4th album, she is 100% into it.

However Lee Hyori is also burdened. The 3rd album received favorable criticism and the audience’s expectations are more and more picky, she hopes to make an album that is worth to collect. Lee Hyori herself is working hard on creating a new trend, she is passionated and focused on the preparations of the album.

Tamra gets shortened to 16 episodes

Geez, what is MBC’s deal? First they butchered Strike Love’s ending — which already had a more fleshed-out ending filmed — and now they’re cutting their low-rated but well-received weekend drama Tamra the Island.

According to Group Eight, the drama’s production company, “We received the report from MBC that the broadcast will end with the 16th episode. As we prepared for 20 episodes, this is disappointing.”

Fan response is largely opposed to MBC’s move, saying that even if extensions are out of the question, to curtail a 20-episode drama to 16 episodes is absurd; furthermore, the drama’s own development will be impeded. Many statements opposing the decision are being posted on MBC’s drama homepage, and as of the source article’s printing on September 1, it had received 1,700 responses in protest. A further 1,179 were posted on another site, Agora.

Tamra has been lauded as a “premium drama” and called a fresh trendy sageuk, despite the ratings that have lingered around the 5% mark. That’s low, to be sure, but as I understand it, most of the drama had been filmed in advance. That means that a shortening of the drama’s run will require a lot of rushed editing. One broadcast station source expressed dismay that high-quality dramas have been unable to grab ratings numbers, and said, “If the broadcast stations cling too much to ratings numbers, they will cause adverse effects on the development of dramas.”

SS501 fan meeting in Kuala Lumpur on September 3rd, 2009

Local newspaper Sin Chew has reported that SS501 will be in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia for a fan signing event this Thursday, September 3rd, 2009.

SS501 arrived at KLIA this morning and are off to Kota Kinabalu. The boys will be in East Malaysia for a couple of days working on a photoshoot and will return to Kuala Lumpur to attend the event.
