Has 4Minute fever struck any of you guys yet? The girls have just made 2 debut stages and they're already topping charts here and there in Korea. And while I think their performances have been shaky to say the least, one member always manages to stick out for me. She's the girl behind the shades and rocks the shortest hair in the group, Ji Yoon! Her live performances are the most stable, and her vocals are pretty right on and then some. Netizens have already found a video of her rocking out to "Umbrella" solo, and after seeing the video myself, it just justified that she's probably the best vocalist of the group. She got so into it that she even knocked down her music stand. Good job.

Ailing North Korean leader Kim Jong-il's heir apparent, Kim Jong-un, has been appointed as acting defense chief, Yonhap said Saturday citing a Japanese newspaper.

Mainichi Shimbun said Jong-un, Kim Jong-il's youngest son, has been working as "acting chief" of North Korea's most powerful National Defense Commission, citing multiple individuals "close to the North Korean leadership." It, however, didn't reveal names.

The "acting chairmanship" of the National Defense Commission is not an official post, but it supports the work of the chairman, it said. Currently, Kim Jong-il is the chairman.

The new move is seen as Jong-un's solidifying his designation as heir.

Earlier this month, South Korea's National Intelligence Service has confirmed that North Korean leader Kim Jong-il designated his third and youngest son, Jong-un, as his successor shortly after the country's second nuclear test.

An unnamed source told the Japanese newspaper that "no doubt, Jong-un appears to be picked by the general (Kim Jong-il)," adding Jong-un's assumption of the post "means that he becomes the chief of the commission in case something happens to the general."

"General" is a term, often used by North Koreans to honorifically address Kim Jong-il.

Very little is known about the 26-year-old son, who is believed to have been schooled in Switzerland.

lol w/e. Minji looks tall. And Taeyang still manages to look as tall as G-Drag anyway, so I don't see a problem.

The movie Billion [10억] seems to have adopted the English-language title A Million, which is odd since the title literally means “a billion.” I can only surmise that this is a rough conversion of money, since 1 billion won is a little less than 1 million dollars, which is the prize money in the plot of this reality-game-based thriller.

The plot is basically what you would get if you smooshed Survivor with The Most Dangerous Game: A group of contestants is dropped off on an island and made to compete against each other for a large cash prize. But in the hands of a psycho producer, the game takes a macabre turn.

When the film was first announced, the plot seemed okay, but what caught my attention was its star-studded cast, mixing up-and-comers with established Hallyu names: Shin Mina, Park Hae-il, Lee Min-ki, Park Hee-soon, Jung Yumi, Lee Chun-hee, and Go Eun-ah.

Super Junior and 2PM members were on MBC ‘Intorducing Star’s Friend – Survival’ where they have to win the hearts of the female guests present with their charms.

The show is similar to what the common MT (youths’ gathering). And 2PM ChanSung won #1 during the survival game. With his winning of #1, he was awarded kisses by the female guests. Unable to hide his excitement, he ran off and needed the other members to help control him down.

Lee Teuk was also chosen as #1 by the female guests, he said, “Having been kissed after 3 years, I feel so excited”. He also went red after receiving the kisses, “You are responsible of me now”.

This episode of the show will air on 20th June.

In "Bandhobi", director Sin Dong-il translates to screen "uncomfortable" issues of illegal immigration, racism and social toadyism through the universal languages of ticklish humor, teenage angst and priceless friendship.

It's a story about growing pains and the meeting point of different cultures _ the title "Bandohbi" roughly means "female friend" in Bengali. It's an indie flick that, while comfortably feigning mainstream superficiality, is inlaid with some gem-like scenes that show why Shim was dubbed "the Korean Woody Allen" (Berlin International Film Festival, "Host and Guest", 2005).

Super Junior member Kim Heechul has surprised everybody when he revealed that he often used his cellphone to take nude photos on the show KBS2TV "Shin Dongyup & Shin Bongsun's Champagne" which will be aired at 11.20PM on June 20th.

Kim Heechul said without hesitant that "HanKyung is often the member who take nude photos (of me), he was quite annoying at first but in the end he still did it for me". He aslo said he had felt like fainting when his cellphone get lost once before.

Also on that show, Heechul revealed that because of him, DBSG's U-Know Yunho had to breakup with his girlfriend once before. He said "By training together, I was close to DBSG's Uknow Yunho and thus, made him broke up with his gf", "When we were still trainees, there was a time I was in my natural hairstyle & wearing flower pattern clothes. I sat next to Uknow Yunho at home and ate hamburger with him, his gf saw me then and mistake me with a girl"

Idol Group Leader Whose Leadership Stands Out?, SNSD's Kid Leader Taeng?!

The community portal site DC Inside's DC News has been doing a survey since the 16th on the 'Idol Group Leader Whose Leadership Stands Out.'

Kim Hyunjoong (SS501), Park Gahee (After School), Park Gyuri (Kara), Jaebum (2PM), Sunye (Wonder Girls), CL (2NE1), Onew (Shinee), Uknow Yunho (DBSK), Leeteuk (Super Junior), JeA (BEG), Jokwon (2AM), Gdragon (Big Bang), Choi Jonghun (FT Island), and Taeyeon (SNSD) are the nominees.

By the 18th at 9AM, 2,880 people had taken part, with Taeyeon leading first place with 68.4% (1,970 votes) of the people in favor of her. It's 7 times the amount of the percentage in favor of Kim Hyunjoong, who is at second with 9.7% (279 votes). Sunye is at third with a 5.4% (156 votes).

Yoon Eun Hye has appeared on entertainment programme after a long time on KBS Entertainment Weekly aired on 20th June, looking better than ever.

She revealed, “My face swells easily. In a day, I can gain and lost 2 kg. I have also a side of me where I don’t exercise well.”

About the title given to her as the ‘entertainer with beautiful collarbone, she said, “Originally this is not a part of my body that I’m confident of, but it became so because everyone made it so. It’s good that people are seeing my shortcomings (?) as my strengths. I have people telling me that I’ve good complexion too.”

Yoon Eun Hye also sent a greetings to Gong Yoo who is currently serving his military service, “Do have more strength. I hope you will work hard too. This is awkward.” laughing.

Singer Seo In Young revealed that she used to conceal herself from other past Jewelry members on KBS 2TV Entertainment Weekly’ aired on 20th June.

She said, “I just to conceal myself from the other Jewelry members in the past. I feel that I lived by without thinking because I was jealous of the other members. If only I have tell myself to stop and think through about things, i believe I would have develop as a singer faster.”

And about the title of ’sexy singer’, she said, “I hope that everyone would not call me that. It’s not that it is very rustic. But when I’m dancing, I cannot be wearing clothes that are covering too much. But I hope everyone will see this with an open mind.”

She also revealed, “My last relationship ended a year back”.

She ended with, “I don’t have the time to look back myself. In the future, I hope to be the shinsang (new product) singer to everyone. I want to be the singer who can sing well.”
