BTS Breaks K-Pop Records With Amazing Results On iTunes Charts For “Love Yourself: Her”

BTS’s new mini album has topped iTunes charts all over the world!

The group’s mini album “Love Yourself: Her” featuring the title track “DNA” came out on September 18 at 6 p.m. KST. Since that time, the mini album has taken the No. 1 spot on iTunes Top Albums charts in 73 regions! This is the highest number ever for a K-pop artist.

Those regions include the United States, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Côte d’Ivoire, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Latvia, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Mexico, Myanmar, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Palestine, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam.

BTS’s title track “DNA” came in first in 29 regions on the iTunes Top Songs chart, including Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Chile, El Salvador, Estonia, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Laos, Lithuania, Malaysia, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Singapore, Slovenia, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam.

In addition, BTS’s “DNA” took the No. 4 spot on the iTunes Top Songs chart in the United States. This means they have broken their previous record for K-pop groups that they set when “Spring Day” took No. 8 on the Top Songs charts in the United States in February.


BTS Tops Daily Album Charts With “Love Yourself: Her”

Congratulations to BTS! They’ve done it again!

Not only did BTS break K-pop records on iTunes, top Korean realtime charts, and become the fastest K-pop group to hit 20 million views, but the group has also taken the No.1 spot on various daily album charts for September 18. They got No. 1 on Yes24, Hanteo, HOTTRACKS, Synnara, and more.









Furthermore, reports revealed that BTS has topped their previous record of 1,051,546 stock pre-orders and the current number is over 1,120,000.

BTS Breaks K-Pop Group Record For Most MV Views In 24 Hours

After BTS broke the K-pop MV record for fastest group to 10 million views and 20 million views with “DNA,” BTS has broken yet another YouTube record for K-pop groups, with the most music video views in 24 hours.

By 6 p.m. on September 19 KST, 24 hours after its release, BTS’s “DNA” recorded 20,975,068 views, the most ever for a K-pop group in 24 hours. This record was also previously held by BLACKPINK’s “As If It’s Your Last,” which had hit an impressive 13,316,290 views 24 hours after its release.

I believe Wings sold 141K on the first day so they've already TRIPLED their biggest day sales record. And by 17:00 KST they sold more than Wings entire first week.

Their international popularity is really exploding, I remember when Spring Day didn't manage to get 10mil views in 24 hours, and now they're hitting that milestone in 8 hours, wtf. Honestly it doesn't really matter that much, but it's just staggering to think about it.

Case in point: if I take a casual walk around a mall here, I'm 90% guaranteed to hear a BTS song playing. Personally I'm not really feeling this comeback, but still happy to see that they're doing well :')

I was cackling at some of the EXO-L and ARMY drama on twitter. Apparently there was 5K copies sold yesterday prematurely so BTS "first day sales" per Kpopalbumsales was only 5K and EXO-Ls were having a field day being like "Omg even EXO's Power of Music sold 50k first day and that's just digital only sales from a re-pack lolol."

ARMYs, not to be outdone, were like biting the head off of Hanteo/kpopalbum sales and were getting all worked up about them possibly not getting the first sales day record like their lives depended on it.

But now today, BTS Hanteo sales have hit 455,000 which is double the 227K The War sold on the first day so EXO-Ls are shutting up aha.

Tbf, The Eve is the best song by far either of them has released this year tbh.

yay i'm glad! i actually like more of the songs on this album than i did for wings, so good for them.
so i listened to sea and while i appreciate sad!bangtan, i get why it's not the title track. it's just kinda boring.

this might be a far shot, but i'm hoping for some follow-up involving go go. you know how people say bts always release music ahead of their time in korea? go go feels like that song to me like maybe i'm just into the song too deep but i love it and i can see songs like it becoming a thing?? idk

I'm very happy with all of their accomplishments. Reading the comments it looks like some of the people don't like these songs, or certain songs. The reason why I love BTS they give a little of everything in their albums. I love their slower songs like Save Me, Butterfly, Let Me Know, 24/7, Spring Day, I need U, Just One Day but then I also love Fire, Dope, War of Harmone, Not today, Run, Danger, Rise of Bangtan, Am I wrong, 21st century girl and so many more. It also depends on the mood I am in, sometimes I want more mellow, other times I want fun songs, and sometimes I want the harder (hip/hop) Rap (Not sure how to say it). I know a lot of the fans like the Hip/hop Rap more then the slower songs but that is why I love their albums they seem to know that people are different and enjoy different types of music so they have songs that should appeal to everyone. The whole album doesn't cater to one kind.

I also will not say I like one album over another album I have enjoyed them all. Some songs I love more then others but to me they are still putting out good music, and I happy they are breaking records. (that most likely will be broken when Twice/Black Pink/Exo/Wanna One or even then next time BTS come back).

I hope their goal comes true and they do make it in the top 100 billboard!

I am looking forward to this comeback and watching them dance to DNA and see what other songs they perform and what they have for us!
