BTS Hits 6 Million Followers On Their V Live Channel

BTS’s channel on Naver’s V Live remains the most-followed on the site with a new milestone!

On September 16, the boy group surpassed 6 million followers on the popular live broadcast site, which they have recently been using to promote their imminent comeback. The channel also hosts spontaneous live broadcasts and original web variety series featuring the members.

BTS hit the 5 million subscribers mark only four months ago, making the milestone even more meaningful.

The group is slated to make an epic and long-awaited comeback with “Love Yourself 承 ‘Her'” on September 18 at 6 p.m. KST.

Who was coming for Jung Kooks nose in the last post? It doesn't look like he's had plastic surgery. It was lighting and makeup that made it look smaller in the teaser vid. Not saying it hasn't been touched at all, but nothing new. It's still as wide in the middle as always. Sorry that was just bothering me. i love his nose it's so unique in Kpop.

i know nothing about the knowing bros but it seemed to me like it had the potential to be one of those messy shows? but judging by peoples reactions it's not i guess so i'm happy they are out there getting the exposure! monday is drawing closer and i'm really getting excited now (something i haven't really been feeling with the short films and pictures). good to know it was just a little slump i was in and it had nothing to do with my interest waning because i love these boys. new music is almost upon us!!!!

In the one or two episodes I've seen of Knowing Bros, there are a lot of jokes about the cast members' appearance (not so much the guests) and divorces. It makes me :\, but otherwise it's a fun time.

like others said: knowing brothers is totally hit-or-miss, but it's probably the most popular variety in korea that idols consistently appear on (and one of the most popular variety shows in general, atm). i've only seen it a few times and it can be really fun, but then they turn and do shit that's either invasive or questionable.

i've only really watched episodes with female idols guesting minus shinee's episode and the episode from last summer that jonghyun and irene appeared in, but. here's an example: there's an ongoing gag involving the mcs and how they either belittle or "ignore" male idols presumably because they're male idols like where they start off the episode bitching and groaning because a female guest isn't appearing. during irene and jonghyun's episode they kinda did that, where they ignored jonghyun and put almost an uncomfortable amount of focus on irene (like crowding in on her at one point and jonghyun had to kind of yell to draw attention away from her). then during shinee's episode i remember some k-shawols were annoyed because they kept on bringing up taemin "looking like a girl" (when he's expressed discomfort in being misgendered like that) / they made some puns about jonghyun dating shin se kyung and then asked him to play a female part in a skit only to turn around and use the entire skit to call him ugly and such which visibly made him uncomfortable / annoyed. so, i'd def be ready for them to possibly bring up some stuff that might annoy fandom but it probably won't be too bad?

I started getting into Knowing Bro's because of the Exo episode. It's funny they mention the male idol hate because it didn't feel that way with Exo. But maybe because they are so huge they didn't want to do that, or SM put a stop to it? Granted I haven't watched too many episodes, but the girl group ones skeeve me out. IMHO the host come off so perverted in those episodes. Like the Black Pink episode it felt like the host were checking them out way too much and always bringing up how pretty they are. I know the girls are in their 20's but there is something so perverse about 30-40 year old guys oggling a 20 year old. And that episode was kinda messy. They kept referring back to Lisa being from Thailand and the one host kept using a fake accent and I think they made some jokes but tbh I don't remember what they were. But like I said maybe I haven't watched enough episodes to have much of an opinion on it? I just don't think I'd watch another female group episode again because it was so painful and gross to watch the few I have.

like everyone said, it can be a hit or miss. in terms of fun and mess.
I feel like it's easier when the guests are already close to the mcs, but I don't think the remarks they make are as bad as radio star for example. I usually don't watch the skit part tho.

the cast usually carries the show (esp sugeun imo) and even though there's this joke about male idols (which is similar to weekly idol. when they've a sequence of boy groups, they start "complaining" lol), they're also really supportive to make the guests shine interesting.

I'm really curious and excited for BTS here.
it's a great opportunity for them to show their variety side as a group.

It's like any Korean variety show pm. The male idol episodes are fun and the female idol episodes are creepy, uncomfortable and fetishy. They can be pretty savage to boy groups so the members will probably get dragged quite a bit LOL.

That show gets a bit meaner with the jokes than I like sometimes, but I bet we'll get some good stuff out of it.

I'm excited for Knowing Bro's. This is something I've wanted since I started checking the show out. I just hope they all have a decent shot at saying stuff. The few larger guy group episodes I've seen it seems like they single a few of them out to talk and do skits but ignore a few. IDK why but I sense Jin and Suga being the ones left out.

that D-5 video is all I ever wanted and more. Vocal line are so touchy-feely with each other.
Jimin slapping Tae's butt was the highlight for me

the variety show looks interesting. I haven't heard of it before but it's good if they can get their name out for the GP. Even though I always prefer their own variety skits (the boys are brilliant together and they have great editing too) those are only watched by people who are already their fans.

knowing bros is consistently funny, but is supposed to be one that tests your mettle. you're expecting to be mocked, but not as much as the cast mock each other. (they do settle down a bit for idol eps, and have generally since the time change tho.) if you want to check out an episode with a similar vibe, infinite, zico and shinee had excellent ones.

i'm so keen to see them on mainstream variety. i'm sure the boys are over the moon too. it hasn't happened much at all for them.
