It's weird because I remember this scandal pretty vividly, and I'm a firm supporter of sex workers so it takes a lot for me to remove myself from that mindset and try to /think/ like someone who grew up believing this was is an evil vile thing.

That being said, Gina went basically mum quiet after she got caught and was punished right? And prostitution is illegal there, and the way we're told the story (probably not the truth of course but all we have is the story we were given) I've always understood that she didn't have money she needed, she was introduced to someone willing to pay her debts, and then she continued potentially doing it and that's how she got in trouble. If this is true and she wasn't being forced into it (highly unlikely if you ask me, but again working with what I know/heard) then I mean she took this gamble and she's paying for it now. I don't think it's right though, but I also don't see the reason for punishing anyone for sex work. The only people in sex work who should be punished are pimps, and those forcing people into prostitution against their will So.... This is a hard one, but unless she plans to clear up the story, the story really doesn't play out in her favor at all.

It's very unfortunate, G.na has a wonderful voice, she seems to work hard and seemed to love being on stage from what I remember when watching her. And she already overcame netizens sexualizing the living shit out of her. Now she's gonna catch prostitute comments for the rest of whatever career she goes into. It's a shame, but I hope she finds happiness in whatever she does, and I'll support her if she comes back, FIGHTING!
