They all can have as many romantic dramas as they like, as long as they don't change the intent of HYYH D: )
Also is the Hobi/Jimin part going to be a triangle? That's one of the reasons why I don't watch K-dramas, because I'm tired of there only being love triangles (or squares/octagons, etc)

Ok first of all I'm dying over how pretty these shots are. That high ass contrast?!? Gorgeous! And it looks like some shots were with 16 mm film but that could just be better cameras being able to do shit these days.

I was not excited with the posters or the idea that bh was bringing back hyyh for this... (I don't know how we're naming it... is it the comeback concept? the era concept? pre-comeback series? well..) I'm also not a big fan of manga or anime, so if they're the biggest reference/inspirations, I miss the good feeling you have when two things you love are together. if the romantic tone is true and the end game in a way, it's already boring and cliche for me ngl.

Save for the bowl styled/cut hairdos THAT NEED TO END like it's distracting at this point and the not making sense as 'love yourself', I liked this.

I'm usually a little... at companies making every member of a group do something, in this case act, because inevitably they're just not all cut out for it and that's OK, but idec they looked and sounded good as ~actors, the lack of spoken words probably helped and this was basically mv ~acting only. BUT I'm anticipating now (wasn't before).

it looks really melodramatic and even cheesy and idk if it's a good or bad thing, i need to see the whole thing to decide that. comparing it to hyyh tho i loved hyyh bc the videos look more realistic and rawer than other kpop music videos and the colours mirrored it bc they were more subdued but i guess that they're in a better place as characters rn so it looks aesthetically lighter.

as people before me, i'm not here for the love yourself concept being all related to romance but i'm also not here for the girls being used as plot devices to bring pain to the boys' characters or something like that.
