I vaguely remember YG saying something about wishing every song they released will get the public attention (back when 2NE1 were planning on releasing 1 single every month, I think? IMO this is just a new strategy but same goal). Because basically everytime a singer released an album, people usually only listen to title songs, other songs got buried. Pity if the songs are great too. As for the physical, I always thought people buy it for collectible purpose, and fans will still buy it regardless of how many songs in there.
