Happy Friday! A little early this week, but OP needs to dip out of work a little early and lay out at the beach lol. Every week I go through the charts for this day in a past year and post up the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, let’s see what topped the charts for the 3rd week in June, 2011.


#3 Secret “Starlight Moonlight”
Most definitely my least favorite Secret song. When I saw this pop up I had to think long and hard what it sounded like because I had blocked it from my memory.

#2 FT Island “Hello Hello”
The song (well, the chorus) sounds familiar, but not the video. I don’t quite follow the MV, what exactly is going on?

#1 Beast “Fiction”
I don’t think I’ve ever seen the MV before. Of course I know the song, and I remember the shuffley feet dance, but the video is new to me. They look so little!

#5 Jang Woo Hyuk “Time Is Over”
I only remember this because of the live performances, I remember being impressed with the choreography. And I really like the chorus. I didn’t realize it was the guy from HOT until much later.

#7 Lim Jeong Hee featuring Hyuna “Golden Lady”
I remember this! But I actually thought it was a song by Younha oops (Does Younha have a MV where she’s at a piano on a rooftop somewhere in Seoul? Maybe I’ve gotten them mixed up). Anyways, I remember this being very Beyonce “Irreplaceable”. The MV features G.Na with great hair.

Bonus: With “Fiction” making its way into a Flashback Friday post, OP has finally accomplished a little personal Flashback Friday goal (get those little victories whenever and however you can lol!). After a little over a year, I have finally included all the songs from that damn iconic opening of the amazing Running Man idol episode!

I really liked secret. They have great voices and their concepts were very nice from photo/promo/video.

too bad we dont get this amount of top tier groups in the same show anymore

Thank you enjoyed the songs, love Fiction and thank you for the Bonus. That is one of my favorite Running Man episodes I have watched it countless times in the past. I am now seating here with tears in my eyes knowing Sistar have disbanded, MBLAQ Lee Joon and Thunder left and is pretty much done. Infinite is still in talks so we don't know the outcome yet, Beast left cube (even though I am happy they are doing good as Highlight and look happier). 2pm some of them are starting their military duties. Now I want to re-watch all of the running man episodes with the Idols but I think I better have tissues handy!
