BTS: The seven-member K-pop boy band, full name Bangtan Sonyeondan, blew up social media during the course of the evening, their voracious fandom inundating feeds with support for the group. I was watching a fancam of when they were announcing who was going to win and I think it was JK who had his fingers crossed lol. The looks on their faces when they won were nothing but gratitude and it still shows me how humble they are. I get emotional that Namjoon always starts his speeches off with saying Army.

But srsly congrats to BTS! Say what you will about them but they've really worked hard and come a long way from where they started (I don't really follow them that closely but I do know that much). I wonder how much more publicity and fans they'll get from this.
Oh and props to Rapmon(?) for basically hard carrying the all the interviews and speaking in english lol, I guess the others weren't as comfortable with speaking it?

You can tell that a lot of their industry peers are fans of them as well :') I know this may be written off as a fan given win (though I think they took into account sales etc too?) but the fact that it opened them up to SO many new people who will hopefully give their music a chance just makes me SO SO happy.
