I love 4/5 of these songs, so win for OP this week! Every Friday I search through the past charts for this day and post the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. Let’s check out what we listened to 6 years ago, in the 3rd week of April, 2011.

#3 Lee Hyun featuring Mighty Mouth “Although You Said So”
Although I really love Lee Hyun’s voice, I’m not really feeling this song. I actually think Mighty Mouth kind of ruins it for me. I dunno, maybe I’m not just not used to them doing a song with male vocals lol.

#2 Big Bang “Love Song”
I love this love song (see what I did there?), this is one of my most favorite Big Bang eras. I loved all the live stages for this, and they all looked so handsome in the suits. Top also looks like a baby bird trying to learn how to fly, flapping those arms around wtf I miss you and your stupid long limbs so much.

#1 4Minute “Mirror Mirror”
Personally, one of my ultimate favorite 4Minute jams, I love this so bad! I think that they looked better in the live performances than in this MV though. I think they had better hair and outfits for the stages. I also remember they had to change the choreography a couple of times for broadcast in the middle of promotions lol.

Honorable Mentions

#6 Orange Caramel “Bangkok City”
So much fun! It’s still on my workout playlist after all these years! I’ve always really liked this song, and I remember the comeback…but I don’t remember this MV or any of the live performances at all. I love those big freakin bows in the hair so much.

#9 Girls’ Day “Twinkle Twinkle”
I love this song! It’s my favorite of their older stuff. I haven’t seen this MV in a long time, I barely remember it. I remember those outfits though. The video is soooo cute!

Usually Orange Caramel's styling managed to create a balance of cute, weird and fun etc. but I think the styling in Bangkok City mv and what they wore for live stages didn't look good. Their bows are pretty much the only thing that look nice in the music video lol. I know OC is quirky and colorful but their style was rather tacky during that era. Anyway, the song is good.
